Alex drove me that day, we went to his house so I wouldn't have to face my neighbor, Lea, for quite a while. I told him what happened.

"What the hell? Why would she do that?" His response was what I was expecting.

"I have no idea!" I said confused.

" I'm one of her best friends she'll tell me, I'll call her and you be really quiet so I can ask her-" just then his phone started ringing.

**ring**
**ring**
**ring**
We both looked at it, it was Lea. He answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hey" Alex said totally NOT casual.

"Hi, I need to tell you something.."

"Okay, what?"

"Did you know that kait likes Jake?"

"No..." This girl is an idiot if she doesn't get it.
"Well I do and everyone else does, I yelled it in class and was telling everyone it today." Followed by an evil laugh that EVERYONE could hear.

"Why?"

"That's what I needed to tell you.. I need to talk me up to Jake if you know what I mean, I want to go out with him, I would be way more popular, I'll date him for a week then dump him and then I'll be even more popular."
Suddenly it all made sense, she wanted to use him for her own gain. Suddenly I hated her even more then I did when she spread my secret. She's an idiot. So many thoughts were going through my head, I was getting dizzy. I felt like I was spinning through secrets and reality. He would take her before me in a heart beat. Then when she dumped him he would shun me and Alex because we were once friends with her. I be more then nothing to him if she got him. Suddenly I threw up on his basement floor. I went home and I kept on saying I was sorry. I was sick of everything, literally. There is no school for me tomorrow, I was happy, I wouldn't have to face Jake, I bet he found out by now. When I got home I was treated like a baby and every thing I wanted was there. I love being sick. I made sure that right after football practice that he would come over and tell me what happened.

---------------Alex's pov-------------------
All day I was being asked about Kaitlin. 'Were is she?' 'She'll never get him!' 'She's a joke!' I won't tell her about it, she won't be able to handle it. During practice he was really quiet, it was really awkward. I'll just tell her that nothing really happened but I think that he found out.
