Taehyung lay straight beside Jimin, gazing up at the ceiling in a bed illuminated by semi-yellow lights.
Taehyung couldn't think clearly about how he reacted and what he thought. He didn't understand why he was making such a big deal out of it when he was clearly aware that Jimin was planning to settle down with someone.
Was it truly because i didn't like Areum?
Or would he feel the same about
anyone who was with Jimin?
Taehyung had never seen Jimin with anyone other than himself.
Since childhood, Jimin had kept himself away from the crowd, choosing to live and eventually pass away in solitude. This desire had always compelled Taehyung to disrupt Jimin's loneliness and invade his life with his own charisma.
Suddenly, a past event flashed before Taehyung's eyes like a recorded movie.
BACK IN TIME
"I guess the college is empty, no one is here," a boy said, standing beside Taehyung who was running his fingers through his hair to remove the water that had recently drenched him from the heavy grey clouds
"The weather changed out of the blue," Taehyung muttered, annoyed by the fact that his expensive jacket had become soaked in the stupid rain.
"Dude, I think we should also leave," another boy suggested, hugging his own jacket tightly as his body shivered from the cold.
"Don't tell me you're getting scared of the college's hidden ghost rumors again," a boy exclaimed, with an irritated expression on his face, causing Taehyung to stare at them.
"How ridiculous you are," he scoffed.
" I'm just chillin' waitin' for this rain to stop pourin'." And then, after a hot minute, when it got a little less heavy,
Taehyung straight up tossed his Audi R8 key. The boy caught it like his whole existence depended on that pricey car key. He's all,
"bring that whip over here. We can dip now." And the other dude, no questions asked, bolts from the scene in a flash.
Now, Taehyung found himself in solitude, as one of the boys had already departed and another had gone to retrieve his car.
"Fuck this relentless rain," Taehyung murmured, expressing his frustration by the downpour. Despite the rain, he aimlessly forged ahead, lost in his own thoughts.
With a sense of purposelessness, he aimlessly took a step forward.
He strolled through the corridors, allowing his mind to wander unknowingly.
