-Hey El! How are you?
-I'm fine Amy. So where are we?
-I should be the one asking you that. Because you always know where we are and what is going to happen., said Amy.
-Yeah... Doc, would you care to explain to Amy what is a home box?
-Ok... a home box is like a black box in a plane, except it homes. If anything happens to the ship, the home box flies back home with all the flight data.
-So?
The Doctor turns towards me.
-Did you know about this? Of course you did. Is this what I think it is? How is this possible?
He asks me.
-What is it Doctor?
said Amy.
-El? I am waiting for an answer. How did that get there?
-Ok Doctor. It's a bit complicated. I can't tell you. The only I can tell you is that, yes it's exactly what you are thinking it is. Old Gallifreyan. No I cannot tell you who wrote this, anyways you're gonna find out very soon.
-Doctor what is it?
-It's Old Gallifreyan, the lost language of the Timelords.
-What does it say?
-Hello Sweeties.
-What?, I shouted.
-What, what?, said the Doctor.
-It says "Hello Sweeties"? Not "Hello Sweetie". Are you sure?
-Yes. My Gallifreyan is perfectly fine.
-Ok then. Amy?
-Yeah?
-The Doctor is going to do something really stupid but also very necessary.
-Ok...
-Get ready to run.
The Doctor used his sonic to get the protection glass case off the home box. The alarms started going off and he grabbed my hand, I grabbed onto Amy's hand and we started running towards the TARDIS.
Once inside, we watched the recording. I smirked watching River winking at the Doctor. There she is. River Song a.k.a Melody Pond, Amy and Rory's daughter.
I already knew the coordinates so I started the TARDIS. How did I know how to fly the TARDIS? Then I heard a small hum. Oh...so the TARDIS told me how...
The Doctor grinned at me.
-Geronimo, I shouted.
The Doctor looked at me pouting.
-I was supposed to say that!
-Too late.
I smirked.
Then came River. It happened exactly like in the show.
-Follow that ship, she ordered.
Then she turned around and smiled brightly upon seeing me.
-Hello sweetie, she said.
-Hey River. I see you went out for a small air stroll.
We all started laughing. Then River came towards me, while the Doctor headed towards the console to follow the ship, she hugged me.
- So I guess that this isn't the first time you've met me?
-Oh no sweetie, I've met you a lot of times.-Great.
-El, you know what will happen right?
-Yeah...
-Ok. I need you to listen to me very carefully. You cannot, under any circumstances, tell the Doctor, his companions, even me, the events that are going to happen. If you do, it could create a paradox.
-Got it.
The Doctor was flying the TARDIS. The ride was quite bumpy. Then River spoke.
-You will need to warp-drive, we're losing them. Stay close.
-I'm trying.
-Use the stabilisers.
-I don't have stabilisers.
I just tuned their little banter out. I knew what was coming and I needed to prepare myself. The weeping angels. The lonely assassins, as would have said 10. I can't tell the Doctor, Amy and River about them and I can't just leave or stay in the TARDIS because that would be suspicious. I just don't get it. Why am I even here? I was supposed to be at home with Shelly watching Netflix and chilling. Now, don't get me wrong, watching the Doctor in action is just so... dreamy, but I can't go through this. These monsters, they're not a tv show anymore, they're real. I admit the Doctor is a HUGE positive in my um... unusual situation, but the Sontarans, the Daleks, the Weeping Angels and every other freaking creature in the universe that wants to kill the Doctor is a HUGE NEGATIVE. I could get killed, but the worse part is that i'm actually excited. Ok, this is disturbing. The Doctor does really rub on you.
I was brought out of my deep thoughts when River said that she had landed the TARDIS.
-Parked us! We haven't landed.
-Of course we've landed, I just landed her.
OMG she is so smug
-It didn't make the noise, said the Doctor distraught.
-What noise?
-Well the, whoo-hu-whoosh. Tell her El, I'm right.
-Ok firstly Doctor, that was a truly horrible imitation of the TARDIS' whooshing sound. Secondly, she is, technically, not supposed to make that sound, you just leave the brakes on. And thirdly, we have indeed landed. River does know how to fly the TARDIS.
-Oi, you're supposed to be on my side. Why are you on hers?
-God, stop being so childish Doc. Thank you River for that not bumpy ride.
River just laughed.
-Yeah well I think that it's a brilliant noise. I love that noise. Come along Pond.
-No wait! Environment checks.
-Oh yes. Sorry. Quite right. Environment checks. {opens the door}. Nice out, oxygen-rich atmosphere, all toxins in the soft band, eleven hour day and... {sniffs the air} chances of rain later.
-He thinks he's so hot when he does that.
-Nah I just think that he likes being a smart-ass, right Doc?
-Oi, El. You have got to stop doing that.
-And you have got to stop pouting like a three year old.
-How come you can fly the TARDIS?
-Oh, I had lessons from the very best.
- flattered Well... yeah.
-It's a shame you were busy that day. It's a good thing that El wasn't.-Ok, what?
-Nothing dear. So we have to figure out why they landed here.
-River, they crashed.
River left the TARDIS, I was going to follow but the Doctor held me back. Amy just had to ask.
-Explain. Who is that and how did she do that museum thing?
- It's a long story and I don't know most of it. Off we go.
- What are you doing?
- Leaving. She's got where she wants to go, let's go where we want to go.
- Are you basically running away?
- Yep.
- Why?
- 'Cause she's the future. My future.
- And you run away from that?
- I can run away from anything I like. Time is not the boss of me.-Ok hang on a sec Doc. If I remember correctly, which I do, you promised Amy a planet.
-She's right.
-Why do you two always gang up on me?
-Because we're women and we always stand together. And as they say United we stand, Divided we fall.
The Doctor looked a bit amused.
-Come on Doctor. We have a planet to see.
Hey guys. I am so sorry for not really updating. If you guys have read the messages that I posted of my profile and my new book "Various Reader Inserts" than you must already have known about my reason. If you don't already know, well here it is. A close friend of mine, one that inspired me to write this book, died in a car accident. Some of the character traits of my oc's were based on her. As I have said before, I don't know if i'll continue writing this. I recently found a chapter, this one, already written on my computer so I posted it. I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not I'll keep writing this.
Until then
Ria :)
