(Utah: 2012)

Morgan, and Rose step out of the Tardis after it lands. The Doctor follows behind them.

"Where are we?" Rose wonders. Morgan can sense magic, and frowns. He tries to determine where the magic is coming from.

"Don't know, some kind of signal drawing the TARDIS off course..." The Doctor says offhandedly. He and Rose look around as well.

"Where are we?" Morgan asks, trying to see in the darkness.

"Earth, Utah, North America. About half a mile underground." The Doctor supplies.

"And when are we?" Rose questions.

"2012." The Doctor informs. Rose is bewildered.

"God, that's so close, so I should be... 26." Rose says shocked.

"32." Morgan states to Rose, who stares surprised. The Doctor flicks a switch and lights flood the museum. Morgan glances around, and frowns at all the artifacts.

"Blimey! It's a great big museum!" Rose breaks the silence. Morgan is annoyed at whoever is in charge at the poor conditions.

"An alien museum. Someone's got a hobby. They must've spent a fortune on this. Chunks of meteorite, moon dust... that's the milometer from the Roswell Spaceship." He passes the exhibits as he names them. They notice a Slitheen arm in one case.

"That's a bit of Slitheen! That's a Slitheen's arm, it's been stuffed." Rose is disgusted. The Doctor notices something else.

"Ah! Look at you!" Inside the glass case he is approaching, is the head of a Cyberman. The Doctor stares through the glass at it. Rose stands behind him. Morgan keeps searching for the magical source.

"What is it?" Rose asks, noticing Morgan is distracted.

"An old friend of mine... well, enemy. The stuff of nightmares reduced to an exhibit. I'm getting old."

"Is that where the signal's coming from?"

"Nah, it's stone dead. The signal's alive. Something's reaching out." He stares intently through the glass.

"Calling for help." He places the tip of his finger gently on the glass. Immediately, an alarm goes off and they are promptly surrounded by soldiers all pointing their guns at them.

"If someone's collecting aliens, that makes you Exhibit A." Rose whispers. The Doctor flashes the soldiers a grin. Morgan rolls his eyes, and sighs.

(SCENE CHANGE)

Van Statten is sitting at a table while Adam shows him the artifacts.

"And this is the last... paid $800,000 for it." Adam informs, handing over an item. The Doctor, Morgan, Rose and Goddard enter.

"What does it do?" Van Statten asks, as he takes it from Adam.

"Well you see, the tubes on the side must be to channel something, I think maybe fuel..." Adam guesses.

"I really wouldn't hold it like that." The Doctor states.

"Shut it." Goddard snaps.

"Really, though, that's wrong." The Doctor continues.

"Is it dangerous?" Adam asks wearily.

"No. Just looks silly." He holds his hand out for the artefact. Security ready their guns. Van Statten holds up a hand to stop them and hands the object to the Doctor.
