Chapter 2

(Platform One: 5.5/apple/26)

Rose enters the Tardis, and runs up to where Morgan is leaning on the console. She gives him a cheeky grin, and he smirks back. The Doctor bounces a ball in his hands.

"Right then, Rose Tyler, Morgan..." The Doctor starts, then looks to Morgan.

"Lovegood." He supplies.

"Lovegood, you tell me, where do you want to go? Backwards or forwards in time. What's it going to be?" The Doctor finishes with a nod.

"Forwards." Rose picks blowing out a breath.

The Doctor presses a few buttons after putting the golden ball down. Morgan is reminded of a quaffle. "How far?"

"One hundred years." Morgan picks a random number, shrugging. The Doctor pulls a lever and turns a knob. The engines lurch and then stop after a few seconds.

"There you go, step outside those doors, it's the twenty-second century." The Doctor points to the doors with a grin.

"You're kidding." Rose laughs in shock.

"That's a bit boring though, do you want to go further?"

"Fine by me!" Rose says pleased. Morgan nods in amusment. The Doctor starts up the engines again. When they stop, he looks at them.

"Ten thousand years in the future. Step outside, it's the year 12005, the New Roman Empire."

"You think you're so impressive." Rose teases.

"I AM so impressive!"

"You wish!" Morgan shakes his head, reminded of Draco.

"Right then, you asked for it. I know exactly where to go." He revs up the engine, pumps a lever furiously. 

"Hold on!" The TARDIS hurtles through the time vortex. With a pinging noise, the TARDIS stops.

"Where are we?" Morgan looks to the doors. The Doctor gestures towards the doors. Rose smiles excitedly.

"What's out there?" Rose asks. The Doctor gestures again. Rose steps outside the doors with Morgan.

(SCENE CHANGE)

Rose and Morgan find themselves in some kind of wooden room. Morgan spots the screen over a window, and steps down the steps with Rose slowly.

The Doctor follows them and with his sonic screwdriver, opens the shutters of an enormous window. They find themselves looking down on the planet Earth. Rose looks in awe as Morgan makes a note to show Luna his memories when he returns home.

"You lot. You spend all your time thinking about dying. Like you're going to get killed by eggs or beef or global warming or asteroids. But you never take time to imagine the impossible. Maybe you survive. This is the year 5.5/apple/26. Five billion years in your future. This is the day... hold on..." He looks at his watch. Rose looks to his watch then looks back to the window as Morgan gasps. The sun brightens, and a fire-like glow spreads over the Earth.

"This is the day the sun expands. Welcome to the end of the world." Rose looks to the Doctor stunned. Morgan places his hands in his pockets and leans on his left leg watching the sun turn a Gryffindor Red.

(TIME SKIP)

"Shuttles 5 and 6 now docking. Guests are reminded that platform 1 forbids the use of weapon, teleportation and religion. Earth Death is scheduled for 15:39, followed by drinks in the Manchester Suite." Morgan rolls his eyes, reminded of Slughorn. Rose, Morgan and the Doctor are walking down a corridor.
