REVENGE!!! - A scream amongst an acceleration! A black jeep suddenly tackled the bear in a "jump"! The beast felt the pain and moaned! It fell on the floor and rolled more than the car did! Tried to get up, apparently, but couldn't! The hit received was hard! The masked man, Volodymyr, he was driving the jeep. He maneuvered it so that he came to the narrow land road. I ran towards it as it stopped. - Come on up big boy!!! - The jeep's front right door opened (Vol' stretched his arm and body to do it). - Hurry... Climb up!
It was tall and had it's own ladder. My body was hurting, but I forced myself to climb with all my strength! And then to close the door as well!
- Let's go! - He said... And accelerated!
- Afff... - I held my bleeding left arm with my right hand and.
- Hang in there buddy... I'll cure that as soon as we are safe! - Then he tried to look better after an hard turn back into the asphalt road. - Or maybe a bit sooner...
- I'm feeling a bit dizzy.
- Yes... It's normal. Don't worry.
He slowed down near the chapel, or Cathedral... Not sure how he called it...
- Shouldn't we go!?
- You're skin was ripped... I'll need to fix that. - He stopped the jeep near what seemed to be the main entrance door of the religious building a not too large wooden door with some windows on it. - Remember. I'm a medical military. I have all that's needed on my backpack. Also... The structure of this building has good isolation. We will be safe inside... - He left his jeep and came help me getting out as well...

The 2000th Christmas Anniversary Cathedral... A beautiful squared-like building with round details that would be properly described and flattered by an architect or any other with more art knowledge than me. I make it simple repeating the same adjective, "beautiful", both outside and inside. Indoors it was magnificent, majestic! Filled with religious paintings in all the walls and ceiling! It had windows of stained glass, made by fragments of colored glass. The interior was also filled with the typical golden glorious details, quite common in religious buildings.

There were long bright wood seats near the walls. Volodymyr dragged one to the middle of that not so big, but reasonably empty space. He picked me up and layed me on that seat.
- This seems like the best place. - He commented. - Relax Chris. Even though I'm not in the best condition to treat you, but I'll do it calmly as the best way possible...
...And so I just remained there, layed, weak... I allowed him to do whatever he kept doing. I trusted him, in that moment, maybe more than anyone. He took stuff from his backpack, several items... And used them on me... I felt pain, continuously... Moaned... My eyes still had a few tear drops to fall through my face... But in the end my arm got stitched... He also applied cream on my other bruises all over my body. I offered my body to him with no resistance, totally not like it happened with the other disgusting Ukranian man I've previously met. Vol' treated me well! He fulfilled the promise neither David or my mother could...
He gave me food cereal bars to eat and water to drink. He drank through a straw, throw a particular hole in his mask. He also changed his last mask filters that he had told about in the meantime. I thought he was probably getting hungry... Maybe I was keeping him on the dangerous "contagious" zone for quite longer than he expected.
- Let's go Vol'! - I called him out loud for the first time. - You must get out of here. You're not immune like I am! - He nodded and I got up. - Thank you. For taking care of me.
- You're welcome Chris! You know... I have come to search for a particular person actually... A selfish mission... I haven't found that person... No... I'm lying... I did found her, dead. I knew exactly where to search... Although, instead, I ended up finding someone else just as valuable as a great human being, and that's you.
- Thanks! - I smiled. - Who was the other person?
- It was my future bride... Now, let's go! - He moved towards the main entrance.
I got up from the seat five seconds after. Then I followed him. As he approached the entrance, it bounced with a "bang" that scared us both! A growl... "It was the bear!"... And another "bang"! Some glasses from the main door broke!
- My riffle is on the jeep!
The inside of the chapel was glorious, but small... No place to hide... Very few to maneuver. There was another door with a small table in front of it. It was dark through those windows, as it probably connect to a different room that would probably trap us instead of working as an hideout. There was still another door similar to the main one, that apparently also would led us to the outside... Most likely would be our alternative escape, our emergency exit!
The bear kept breaking the glass and cracking the wood...
- Maybe it's too large to pass through! - I hoped.
Then, we heard that scary "siren": the elephant!... The bear seemed to stop hitting the door. He moved back - we could see it through the broken door's windows. - He began to move away as we began to feel the ground shaking.
- Not good... - Vol' commented. - That mutated elephant is like a dinosaur... It must have heard the shooting from before and got here quickly... The roads are quite wide and it's easy to get to this place, that's like a road's target!
- What should we do!?
- Shhh... Stay quiet...
The giant beast was in front of the door... Moved slowly... His ribs could be seen stretching every time he inhaled because his lungs got bigger and his bones gained flexibility to adapt.
