I sang as I snuck around with my bag of goodies as I searched for Rouxls, he should be around here somewhere. I crouched nearby when I saw him, his back facing.
A wild Rouxls in his natural habitat, building weak puzzles that are oddly enough too easy.
"Y/n, thou aren't quite as discrete as thou hast thought."
I cringe at his attempt at talking.
"You know your early english sucks, right?"
He scoffed, turning towards me with one of his dull puzzles. "How dare ye shame thine words, blasphemy. Thou mustn't be here."
"I know I know, buuut I brought some things you might like!" His eyebrow rose as he drew closer, eyeing the bag.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him to out hideout spot, opening the bag and started pulling things out.
First thing I brought out was Moose doll.
"This is a stuffed animal, called a moose."
He picked it up and inspected it, fidgeting with the antlers.
Next came a furry little mouse.
"This is a mouse, I actually trained it to help you make puzzles. I named him Gizmo."
The fascination in his eyes sparkled like stars.
"And lastly this!" I pulled out a puzzle cylinder. "You're always making puzzles, so I thought I could make one for you to test out."
He held the puzzle in his hands, getting a feel for it. "There is a prize in there for figuring out how to open it." He started tinkering with it as I watched, tossing popcorn into my mouth.
A grin spread across his lips as he worked bit by bit on it. "My my, Y/n. Thou hast giveneth thee inspiration. You have thine gratitude."
He picked everything up and kissed my lips before rushing off, leaving me speechless with my heart racing and cheeks dusted red.
Shorter, but perfect.
