Though you've only been with the Cullens for coming up on a year, you can't imagine a day you would leave them. They're your family in every sense of the word. You would die for them just as they would die for you.

That's why you're in a speeding car as Alice drive erratically and illegally to keep Edward from killing himself. As Alice slams on the horn to get people to move, police stop the car. Bella swiftly gets out of the car and looks back at us in a panic.

"Alice!"

"Bella, you're he only one he can't see coming. If I go, he'll read my thoughts. He'll think I'm lying. He'll rush into it."

"Where do I go?"

"He'll be under the clocktower."

"Go!" I urge. Bella slams the car door and takes off in the direction of the clock tower. You and Alice quickly cover yourselves up and speed out of the car, leaving the police confused and looking around. You hide in the shade, and you start to breathe heavily, still not used to not needing to breathe.

"(Y/N), relax, okay? Bella's got this, I promise."

"We need to get over there anyway." Alice nods and takes your hand. You quickly but surely make your way through the crowd and to the clocktower. As you get closer, you hear the commotion.

"Stay here, okay?"

"I want to help," you protest.

"Stay here," Alice says, her rare stern tone causing you to nod. You step into a little shade spot as Alice breaks the lock and walks inside. "Come on, guys! It's a festival. You wouldn't want to make a scene," she adds cheekily.

"We wouldn't," a man's voice replies. You curse yourself for finding a voice attractive; especially the enemies voice.

"Enough," a soft but strong voice orders.

"Jane," Edward's voice comes.

"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long," Jane says.

"Just do what she says," Alice tells someone, probably Bella, quietly. I listen as their footsteps go deeper into the castle, and you make the split second decision to follow them. You keep your distance, relying on your inhuman senses to guide you.
