Cladding in red suit, with her favourite not to forget red lipstick. She left her hair open. Straightening them. An approval smile curled up her lips. Indeed, she looked breathtaking in traditional. But frowing, she thought what will people think? "Itna kiske liye saji hu? Koi puchega toh kya bolungi?" She thought sitting on the small stool.
"Keh dena mere liye" he said leaning on the wall, with crossed hands near his chest. His eyes sparkled differently at her today, she was looking absolutely a hoor. She frowned more and he smiled more charmingly.
"Juman Aurad Firasat ko kabse logo ki raye se farq padne laga?" He questioned and she nodded her head humming.
She stood up taking her phone, no longer having guts to look into his eyes. Since their nikkah, she have been noticing that how differently his eyes were shining. The warmth radiating from him, was her only solace. His small gestures were melting all her insecurities. But deep down, she was scared to be shattered once again. Less she knew he was hella bent to repair her shattered soul with his warmth and love.
He smiled at her sharamana, laal gulabi gaal and aankhe churana. Following her quietly, he held her dupatta pulling her closer. She gasped and narrowed her eyes at him. "Aurad koi dekh lega" she whispered frowning.
"Biwi sahiba muje pasina aa rha h, socha apke itne mulayam dupatts se bhetr thodina kuch ho skta h" he said wiggling his eyebrows. She shooked her head and held his wrist, "drame baaz, chalo ab" she said dragging him downstairs.
As soon they reached downstairs, Juman tried to leave his hand, but this smarty pants hided their holding hand with her dupatta whispering, "benefits of dupatta" she narrowed her eyes at him.
He winked at her and sat down on the chair serving her everything. She shooked her head at him and looked around for Rumi. "Rumi kaha h?" She asked the helper.
"Ma'am unhe sir school drop karne gye h" she said smiling at them wholeheartedly. Juman nodded and raised her eyebrows at the helper. "Kuch kehna h?" She asked and the helper nodded in no, smiling.
"Aaj bhot bhot pyaari lag rahi h Ma'am" said the helper and giggled.
Juman gave a small nod and ate her breakfast in complete silence.
Meanwhile her mother came downstairs.,"Juman? Aj kuch special h? Aaj traditional kese?" She asked making Juman roll her eyes.Aurad too hummed and asked, "yes Ma'am aaj kuch khaas h?" He said innocently.
Juman narrowed her eyes and said, "dare mila tha, friend se" she lied smoothly forgetting in her 26 years of life she never had any single friend.
"Beta jaha tak muje yaad h tumara koi friend hi nhi h" her mother said being sad. Her daughter had cut all the ties with this world.
Juman frozed and Aurad looked at her confusingly. "Me huna inka friend, best friend forever" Aurad said smiling wholeheartedly.
Juman quickly finished her breakfast and went out, Aurad too followed her. Sensing her gloomy mood. He decided her give her some alone time. Driving to her office with pure silence she hoped down the car.
Aurad parked the car, and saw Juman standing out with fidgeting fingers. She was never this nervous. Knitting his eyebrows in confusion he asked, "andar kyu nhi gyi"
She looked here and there, "Just feeling awkward in traditional outfit" she said being nervous.
"Juman? Aj ho kya gya h tume?" He asked cupping her cheeks. She looked down. He captured her chin in between his two fingers, "meri biwi ka sar me humesha aese fakr se utha hua dekhna chahta hu, isse kabhi khuda ke alwa kisi ke samne nhi jhukana" he said looking directly into her eyes. Her heart played the rhythm of love, making her breath hitched.
