chapter 20

The crowd cheered when Jackson hit Felix on his right jaw. Felix had lost his balance for a second and Jackson immediately followed with a kick in his stomach. 

Felix fell down on his hands and knees while he whined in pain. Hyunjin nervously bit his lip and thought: "Come on, get up!" But he couldn't say that out loud, so he stayed silent.

Felix did get up, but right before he stood up he was pushed back down again with his back down on the mat. Jackson straddled him and Hyunjin wanted to get in the ring and pull him of off him.

"Giving up this easily, stray?" Jackson asked while he held Felix's collar. It looked like Felix was about to loose as the referee started counting down: "4, 3, 2,...." 

But out of nowhere Felix gathered all his strength and turned them over, with him on top of Jackson.

"If you thought it be this easy, you were completely wrong, dick," Felix gritted as he stood back up, waiting for Jackson to get up as well. He glanced towards Hyunjin who discreetly gave him a nod.

When Jackson stood back up, they were on opposite sides of the ring, facing each other. Suddenly Jackson walked up towards him and moved his right fist to hit Felix.

Watch out and go for his neck; it's always open before he punches.

Felix remembered Hyunjin's words from earlier and saw the perfect opportunity. Right before Jackson could reach him, he dodged it and hit Jackson's exposed neck. 

Jackson fell back and gasped for air as he dramatically held his throat. The audience cheered and Felix felt confident so he moved down to face Jackson. 

Felix kept giving out punch after punch, until his fists and Jackson's face were completely covered in blood.

"Okay, okay, enough," Xalor said strictly as he went to check on his top student, Jackson. Hyunjin walked towards Felix, now that Xalor wasn't paying too much attention.

"Well done, love," he said quietly as he grabbed Felix's right hand to inspect his wounds. "Make sure, you take care of that, okay?" he said before being interrupted.

"Get help, he's not breathing!" someone screamed. Felix's smile dropped and he turned around to find Jackson lifelessly in the middle of the ring.

Hyunjin didn't look at the dying male, instead he looked at Felix, who was starting to panic. The blonde's breathing was unsteady and his right hand, which was still in Hyunjin's hand was shaking. With his other hand he started nervously pulling his hair. 

Three doctors ran in and held out a stretcher on which Jackson would be taken towards the hospital wing. 

"Lixie?... Felix!" Hyunjin yelled but Felix couldn't hear him. Hyunjin shook his shoulders trying to get him out of the trance. "Felix! Do you hear me?" he yelled but still no reaction. 

Nobody was paying attention to Felix and Hyunjin, so Hyunjin quickly carried him in his arms and ran out of the training hall.

He brought him outside and put him down on a bench, right next to the building. Felix finally came to his senses and he tried to open his mouth a few times to say somehting. 

"I- is he okay?" Felix asked almost choking, his voice was shaking but his expression was emotionless. Hyunjin squatted down in front of Felix and brushed the blonde's hair behind his ears. 

"Sst, don't worry. Can you breathe slowly for me, please?" Felix didn't react and just kept pulling his hair. Hyunjin grabbed him by the wrist, so he couldn't pull anymore.

"Breathe, Lixie. Like this," Hyunjin took a deep breath in and signaled Felix to do the same thing. After doing this a few times, Felix followed him slowly breathing in and out, which finally made him calm down.
