Chapter eleven

(Cotys POV)

My mind went blank when carolyn undressed it I'll I saw her go underwater and not come back up I tried to run over there but then my shirt got hung on a stupid nail when I finally broke free I ran over to the pool.

"Carolyn!",I screamed seeing if she could hear me but she didnt.I dove in after he it was pitch black other than the porch light and it barley worked I found her brought her to the surface I didn't hear her breathing at all I check her pulse it was barley going and I didnt know what to do.

So I called the abulance to come get her while I tried giving her cpr it wouldn't work the abulance finally showed up and took her off to the hospital.

"I'll meet her there",it yelled to one of the people it the back.

I ran inside and tried to find the keys to my truck I couldn't.

"Avery lexi I'm running to the hospital come with me and I'll explain everything ",I yelled at them as they kept asking me questions and getting in the truck.

"Carolyn tried drowning herself I think all I saw was her go into the pool and not come back up and I tried to save her but nothing was working they took her to the hospital hopefully she will be okay",I said in tears.

"What the fuck,she atempted to drown herself omg hurry and get to the hospital coty!",lexi yelled at me.

Avery sat there on his phone texting everybody to send prayers out for her he is so sweet to her lately it's kinda making me jealous.

"Hello who are you here for?",the lady at the front desk asked me.

"I'm here for carolyn she just came here a couple minutes ago",I said.

"Are you her family?",she asked.

"No",I said anger with her now.

"Then you can't come in",she said pointing away.

"What listen here carolyn is basically family to us first off she is my girlfriend and her bestfriend",I yelled.

"She is your girlfriend then let me go ask her if she knows a coty",she said in a bitchy tone.

I know she isn't my girlfriend yet but she will be soon.

"She said come on back",she said.

"Thank you",I said.

(Carolyns POV)

Lexi,coty,and avery all walked in after the nurse walked out.

"Coty can I talk to you alone please",I said laying in the hospital bed with an needle in my arm and a breathing mask.

"Yeah anything " he said rushing over to me after lexi and avery left.

" Coty I need to tell you something",i said about to be in tears of what I was going to say.

"Okay but first I need to do something",he said getting down of one knee "Carolyn will you be my girlfriend",he asked.

"Coty",I said in tears because of what I what just about to say to him.

"Yes",he said with a huge smile on his face.

"Coty listen to me please I'm not worth your time you need to forget about me just forget that I came into your life forget all the times we have had together,forget the long hugs,kisses,and cuddling together.I don't want to hurt you coty and I know you don't want to belive the words coming out of my mouth but I'm sorry I'm doing this becuase I love you " I said as my voice craked at the end.

"you don't mean this you are still dizzy from bring unconscious you will realize it and I'm going to leave before you say another word I will see you tommorow at the party bye!",coty said running out the door in tears.

This is what I was scared of.

(Cotys POV )

I can't belive what she just said she can't do that to me.

I went back home with avery and lexi they didn't say a word on the way back I was so sad that I almost wrecked into a tree becuase I was spaced out so eventually avery started driving.

I was so spaced out that I end up sleeping in the truck crying carolyn wasn't coming back for three days is what the nurses said.

I wouldn't eat,I will sleep only if I pass out.

Avery and lexi have tried getting me to but I won't no matter what.

Carolyns words kept replaying through my head.

What if I was the one not knowing what was sting maybe b it was for the best I thought.

I sat inside all day thinking when all the sudden my phone started to ring I got excited thinking it was carolyn but really it was avery he was at the pool whay does he want I thought then he sent me a video of carolyn at the pool a couple days before.

"I fucking hate my life right now my boyfriend is lying to me and my bestfriend hates me becuase I didn't tell her about her about her boyfriend trying to fuck me intill know",she said in the video.

"I have to drown myself so that coty can go do whatever he wants and so can lexi without worried about me",she said.

Right now I'm in tears she thought I was lying to her but it was a suprise.

I started crying more and more.
