〈 Reset? Y/N 〉

Like a game, the same sentence always comes to his mind after death. Eui Hyun wondered if someone was observing this situation. As he lay sprawled on the floor, staring endlessly at the ceiling without answering, the words flashed in red as if urging a quick response.

"Aren't you going to reset forcibly anyway?"

Eui Hyun chuckled with a desperate face.

"It's not like anything matters, right? Does my choice even have any meaning?"

Eui Hyun made the choice of not making any choice.

Even in the place where he came after dying, time flowed rigorously. Over the weeks of delaying the decision, Eui Hyun became as withered as a corpse, unable to eat or drink anything.

〈 Reset? Y/N 〉

It felt vividly painful, just like being alive, experiencing all the pain that the body could feel. Eui Hyun touched the ground with hands that had become as dry as dead branches. Wheeze, wheeze... Now, even breathing was not easy.

The result of choosing not to choose was ultimately death.

If he died?

If he died, he would fall back into this black world. The flashing words in front of him were the same. Will you reset or speak?

"What the hell am I supposed to do, what..."

A life where he couldn't die or live as he pleased was the worst. Eui Hyun slammed his face into the floor and wept. It seemed he was about to go crazy since he couldn't find a way out of this dog-like leash.

〈 Reset? Y/N 〉

The letters were greatly enlarged, flashing in front of Eui Hyun. Disgusting letters, disgusting death, disgusting Z.

Eui Hyun looked at the letters and replied.

"I won't reset."

〈 Reset, please. 〉

"...What?"

〈 Reset, please. 〉

There were many situations that he couldn't understand. In a sense, all of this seemed unreal, but it was better than this.

Eui Hyun couldn't respond and stiffened his body. The letters that he thought were the play of a god or programming seemed to have a life of their own.

"Hey, what are you?"

Eui Hyun abruptly stood up.

〈 Reset! 〉

〈 Reset! 〉

〈 Reset! 〉

〈 Reset! 〉

〈 Reset! 〉

Like a computer error, consecutive red letters appeared in the air, hitting the empty space like bloodstains. Bewildered, Eui Hyun took a step back.

〈 Forced reset in progress! 3, 2, 1... 〉

The black space was filled with letters. Like blood, the bright red letters continued to flicker before quickly disappearing.

A dull pain was felt at the back of his head. Eui Hyun opened his eyes at the familiar sensation.

How could I forget?

This dog-like sensation.

"Eui Hyun, today we'll take your sibling from here."
