Kwon Eui Hyun silently stared at the hand that grabbed his. The fingers were so small and chubby that it was hard to believe they belonged to an adult male. When he lifted his head slightly, there was his father, Kwon Jung Seop, with a quite youthful face.
"You said NO, and it annoys me..."
Life had truly been reset.
There were no words. Despite experiencing various situations since awakening his ability, Eui Hyun believed that going back to the past with all the previous memories was impossible. He believed in a god, and he was confident that there were several criteria to distinguish between gods and humans.
First, gods could intervene in life and death.
Second, gods could turn back time.
Third, gods could change fate.
This precious moment shattered all these personal criteria at once. Already dead with his neck cut in half, Eui Hyun came back to life by returning to the past, and his fate changed according to his choice.
"Eui Hyun, what did you just say?"
"...Nothing at all."
Eui Hyun slightly furrowed his brows, sneakily pulling his hand away from Kwon Jung Seop. They didn't usually have such a gentle relationship.
"Hehe, that kid. Already trembling because he's getting a sibling?"
'A sibling? Just treat it like raising a dog.'
Eui Hyun grimaced but remained silent.
Although he had regressed, this was ultimately a reset granted by 'himself' because 'he' pitied him. So, in conclusion, it would be enough if 'he' was happy. Therefore, Eui Hyun vowed to live a bit for himself this time.
"We have many friends at the orphanage who hope to become hunters. If Director Kwon Jung Seop gives a speech for those kids, it would be very helpful."
Saint Happy Orphanage, dedicated to poor area children, was almost falling apart. The director, with lips painted in tacky colors, followed Kwon Jung Seop with her mouth hanging open.
"Of course. If it's for the growing kids, I should do it. The Hunter Department is always waiting for talents."
"Oh my, as expected...! The children are gathering in the auditorium. Shall we go directly to the auditorium?"
"Let's do that."
Kwon Jung Seop seemed completely immersed in the role of a kind middle-aged man dedicated to the country and children. What a joke. Eui Hyun quietly laughed under his breath and followed them.
"This way to the auditorium. It's a space that used to be a temporary shelter in the neighborhood disaster situation. If we get some financial support, we might be able to repair it too... Hoho."
"We'll talk about it when things are back to normal."
"Oh my, I didn't mean to burden you, but thank you so much!"
The director seemed to be shaking her fist in excitement.
The worn-out corridor made a creaking sound with each step. Instead of being used as a temporary shelter in a neighborhood disaster, the entire space itself seemed like a disaster.
"Inside here. So, um, how should the young master go up to the auditorium..."
The director glanced discreetly. It was natural for Kwon Jung Seop to go up to the auditorium, but the question was about what his son, Kwon Eui Hyun, would do. Although he lived a life in the spotlight, it wasn't something he desired. So, if it were the usual Eui Hyun, he would never have gone up to the auditorium.
