Chapter 7 : Kidnapped

Wangji sees his mother waiting for him on the couch, she stands up when she sees him and comes forward, "Are you okay?", Liw Ran asks immediately  while cupping the boy's chin softly. The other nodded his head softly and smiled. "Are you really not mad that I lost my job?", he asks softly. His mother immediately shook her head, "Why would I be Ah-wang? I just worry you'll do something when you are in rage". Wangji chuckled softly and shook his head, "I am alright mom, I just am stress that what'll happen to the house now..I have to start working mom, I can't be useless", he spoke softly while looking down.

Ran softly tilted his head up by placing her finger beneath his chin, "You are not, ok? And I won't let you think you are useless. You were never, don't think like that. It's ok, I have some.money saved and Yuan is also earning so..", she smiled softly, "In no time you'll find a new job, don't worry, you are capable of that ah-wang". Wangji felt so much happiness, he felt hid heart flutter, he hugged his mother tightly.

Yuan also arrived, Wangji shared the news but Yuan just supported his brother more and told it was OK. Then they all sat down for dinner, they ate, chatted for sometime and slept. Wangji was feeling great now, first Wuxian made him feel a little better and now after talking with his small family he felt contented, today was his good day afterall.

Wangji was sitting on the bench thinking about Xian's offer to get him the job (refer it in chapter 4). He was thinking that Xian might help him, he seems so good, nice to him and also a very trusting guy, not like how his ex-boyfriend was. "Name of the devil", He uttered softly looking ahead of him, towards the boy who was approaching at him with wide grin.

"Hey firecracker, long time no see", Wuxian uttered while sitting beside the other who stared at him which scratching his skateboard. "We just met yesterday", Wangji uttered while sighing, he placed his skateboard beside him and watched around the peoples, some were with their children, other with their girlfriends or boyfriends.

"To me it's still a thousand years without you", Wuxian uttered softly while looking ahead of him, his camera was on his neck as usual dangling, he turned towards the other, "You seem lost in thought, something troubling you?". Wangji thought for sometime, he was in a dilemma whether to tell the other boy his problems or just to let it go. "I lost my job", he uttered at last, he wanted Wuxian to know.

The other male stayed silent for sometime and smiled, "So finally my turn came?", he spoke, "Firecracker, do me an honour and please come for interview in my company, will you?". Wangji stared at him in disbelief hearing all this, "I have not even passed the college nicely..", he uttered looking at the other. Wuxian chuckled and shook his head, "No no no, you just have to be my personal secretary, sit on the desk and just look pretty. That's your work", he said.

Wangji sighed and rolled his eyes, "Xian, do you really thing this is the right time for your jokes?", he looked away. "I am not joking Wangji", Wuxian uttered now in a serious tone, the other turned towards him after hearing the tone and he immediately smiled, "I am really not joking", he rummaged through something in his pocket and took out a card, "Here my company's card"

Wangji looked at the card and slowly took it while staring at him, he really wanted to trust Wuxian in this. "It has the company's address and phone number too", he said while admiring the boy who was checking the card carefully. Wangji looked up, "Can I trust you?", he asked softly. The other nodded lightly, "You can, more than anyone". Wangji put the card on his bag, "I am sorry..I don't trust people so easily", he uttered softly while looking at Xian who keeps admiring him with his loving gaze.

He immediately shook his head in response and uttered, "I know how it feels, don't apologise..I like my stubborn firecracker". Wangji snickered and looked down at his shoes, "So when?", he asks, "The interview". Wuxian hummed thinking a little, "How about tomorrow?", he said. The other nodded, he was expecting today but it was OK, atleast he can sure he has the job, which also in very big company.

Wuxian stands up, "Alright so tomorrow, 2 pm?", he asks lightly while smiling. Wangji nodded his head, "Fine, 2 pm..I will be there", he said and watched the other leaving. He knew Wuxian was busy as he now has to keep so large company in check, still he had the honour that he himself came and talked with him. He was grateful.

While sitting there for sometime, he suddenly saw Sizhui who was buying flowers in the corner flower shop. Wangji immediately stood up, rode his skateboard to reach there. After reaching he tapped the male from behind who turned around and smiled widely after seeing the boy. "Oh my god Wangji, what are you doing here?", Sizhui asked being amused.

Wangji chuckled and glanced at the bouquet of red roses in the others' hand, "I should ask you the same. I was just here skateboarding", he shrugs. Sizhui nodded lightly staring at him with the smile, "I can see", he uttered. Wangji pointed at the bouquet, "For whom?". "Your brother, today will be the day I will propose him", he grinned, "for sure".

Wangji rolled his eyes, "You always say this, but you just chicken out atlast". Sizhui chuckled nervously, "Oh you know how much I carry fear of your brother", he uttered and sighed, "This time won't let like the last time, I will do it". The other smiled and took a deep breath, "So well then..good luck, that's all I can say".

Sizhui nudged him and chuckled, "Thanks", he said and went towards his car but before getting in, he turned back to the other, "Want a ride somewhere?". Wangji shook his head, "I will be staying here for some time", he answered while looking at him. "Okay, but don't stay too late out, understand?". Wangji nodded again, "I won't".

Yuan was walking towards the coffee shop alone after his office. He was overworking today. He checked his phone for any notifications, but there was none. He was just checking his phone when suddenly he bumped into someone resulting in his phone to fall down. The person infront of him immediately bowed, "I am sorry", he said and crouched down to pick the phone. He handed Yuan back the phone and got struck seeing the sight infront of him.

Yuan looked at the male and saw there was a boy and his friend too. "I am sorry, it was my fault. My eyes were on the phone whole time", he uttered softly with a small smile. The other male couldn't talk at all and he immediately bowed again, "I-i am Peiyin", he uttered softly while staring at the boy's face. Yuan smiled warmly and nodded, "I am Wang Yuan, nice to meet you".

Peiyin felt his heart stop for a second looking at the male's beauty, it was love at first sight. Beside him Wuxian chuckled and nudged him immediately who came out of the trance and cleared his throat. "N-nice name, Yuan", he uttered softly, nervously, his nerves coming together. Yuan nodded and tried to pass by them but Peiyin immediately spoke, "U-um..I..can I have your number..", he asks softly and hesitantly.

Yuan stared at him for sometime and chuckled, "Why?", he asked being amused. Peiyin felt silent, he didn't know how to react. Wuxian was watching from beside him and couldn't help but chuckle lightly seeing his best friend's silliness. "I should leave", Yuan uttered and immediately went to the coffee shop which was about to get closed. Peiyin sighed and looked at Xian who eas smirking at him.

"See? This same happened to me when I saw Wangji for the first time", he chuckled, "Now do you believe me?". Peiyin nodded lightly and looked at where Yuan went, when suddenly he saw Yuan getting forced inside a black van. Peiyin gasped and frowned immediately running towards the van.

Wuxian looked at where his friend was looking at and there he can see a flicker of his firecracker..his wangji, Inside the van. But before both him and Peiyin can reach. The van took off.
