Chapter Four: Curiosity

 At Georgia's place

Georgia: Omg who are you guys??!!!

We started to run but I stopped as I wanted to talk to Georgia and I couldn't continue anymore without talking about these issues with her, I removed the mask and Georgia was shocked

Georgia: What on earth Julia!! since when are you spying? and wait first of all are you spying or robbing?

I had shortness of breath, I started to gasp

James removed his mask and glared at me. I whispered an apology and explained that I needed to speak with Georgia.

James: OK I can explain

Georgia: Explain what? And who are you?

Julia: This is my cousin. Please allow us to explain as we understand this situation may be embarrassing.

James and I explained everything to her. She started laughing and I was shocked. Oh bro what even is happening....I wondered

Julia: But Georgia I know it's you who is behind this

Georgia: What...?

She continued to laugh

Georgia: and why would I do it?

Julia: Because you hate me

Georgia: What? When did I hate you, Julia?

Julia: What about the spam you sent to Fionna and the day you called her and told me that you hate me at dance club?

Georgia: Sorry but I never did those and I have always wanted to ask you if we can hangout but some people said you don't like to

I was speechless so I decided to head back home.....

Julia: Okay, I don't know what's happening! I'll talk to you later, Let's go, James!

Thank God, I asked for her number before leaving with James and went home with 1000 confusion.

Georgia gave a strange look as we left!

At Home

James: Okay, this is interesting I love to solve these, don't worry Julia we are getting to the conclusion

Julia: If not her then who?

James: We don't know but now go and take a rest while I do some stuff in finding who used the tiktok account to post that fake news I'll see you tomorrow!!

Julia: Alright please find it out soon I'm very very curious, I can't take these anymore, I feel super duper disappointed, guilty for doing nothing and confused.

But I believe that the truth will come to light soon

James left and I spent the night pondering who the culprit could be. However, in the middle of the night, I woke up with a sudden realization. I remembered something that Georgia had told me earlier, "I am sorry, but I never did those things. I have always wanted to ask you if we can hang out, but some people said that you don't like to." I was confused by her statement. Who were these "some people" she referred to? I wanted to ask her about it, but it was 3 am, so I went back to sleep. Nevertheless, the urge to ask her kept me awake for a while.

Next Day

I woke up realising that I only had a few hours left to prove myself. The first thing I did was to pray to God for guidance, and then I called Georgia to ask her what she meant.

Call with Georgia

Julia: Hey Georgia, it would be helpful if you answered to questions I asked you

Georgia: Sure what is it?

Julia: Remember I told you that you called Fionna and told that you hate me

Georgia: Yh? But I told you that I didn't say anything wrong about you

Julia: Yeah I know but who did you call to ask me if I can hang out with you?

Georgia: Well who else, Your friend Fionna to get your number

Julia: Can you tell me more about that?

Georgia: Look Julia, I'm very busy right now, I don't have time for these

Julia: Can you at least tell me which day it was?

Georgia: uh okay maybe 2 days before the school's quiz competition

Julia: Did you text her any day?

Georgia: um Yh I asked if I could get your number, and she said she would give it later

Julia: And when was that?

Georgia:  uh it was on the quiz competition day?

I was shocked

Julia: Are you sure?

Georgia: Yes Julia

Julia: Look Georgia I'm sorry but I love hanging out with other people too and this is my number save it. Thanks for helping me out!

Georgia: You're welcome Julia

But I still suspected Georgia but I couldn't jump to conclusions till James came back..........
