In my defense for all of this (joining in on the idea)...I thought that we were going to make history like Mathew intended on doing. to be the first ones ever to pull a prank on the Ares cabin and not get beaten to pulp. unfortunately Tyche was not on our side.
like planned half of us (me, Jake, and Michael) went with Silena and the other half (Mathew, and Charlie) had to go with lea.
during the way to the infirmary Silena 'accidently' tripped me and I had to catch up with them which was really painful because of how dizzy I felt due to the many hits I got in the head.
"you guys are stupid" Silena said
"that's what I told them!" Michael exclaimed
"oh don't pull that bullshit on us if you thought it was such a bad idea why'd you join?" Jake snapped. ooooooohh got em.
"I don't know?"he said
"GUYS! that is enough got it we've already made it to the infirmary and you didn't even notice. and besides you are giving me a headache. and I'm pretty sure it's worse than when Mason trys to act smart." Silena yelled. I let what she said sink in and...
"HeY" my voice cracked. damn the only reason she get's away with out smarting me is because she's a legacy of Athena. and Is no fair .
"ha your voice cracked that means that you know it's true" she said
"yo-" I started but jake cut me off saying "guys quit flirting I think feel a bone coming out"
"cool but ew gross. I'll go get someone." was the last thing she said before leaving.
"were you two actually flirting?" Michael asked in a small innocent voice. "no not really Jake just can't shut su maldito boca!" I said in Spanglish also hitting Jake upside his head.
"okay good." he murmered probably not wanting us to hear but I did I don't know if Jake did but I'm guessing he did saying "hold up. you like Silena" Jake asked holding up his hand waving it around. at that question I perked up wanting to know the answer.
"uh...um...uh...n-...yea..." he said stuttering. I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in me. I don't know why but I have some attraction towards Silena. ever since we were little but when I see her now i have like a even stronger attraction though I ignore it all the time knowing she doesn't feel the same it kinda hurt.
"dude looks like yo-!" Jake starts but i quickly put my hand over his mouth making his voice sound muffled underneath so Michael couldn't hear. next time i should remind myself of never becoming best friends with a fucking legacy of Aphrodite aka loud and gossiper and to not tell this guy anything.
"what?" Michael asked
"NOTHING!. nothing, nothing" i said quickly. he didn't do anything but nod his head. i took my hand off of Jake's mouth noticing that he was just about to lick my hand if i didn't take my hand off a second ago. the silence was awkward but thankfully a certain legacy of Poseidon came before it got even more awkward with 2 other Apollo children.
"um Sil theres only two and I broke my ankle not too long ago" Jake said
"I know I had nothing to do so i wanted to help while they get you inside i'll get Mason and Michael inside and one of them will help you while i help another and Will,will help another. sounds confusing but it really isn't it's probably cause your naturally stupid." Silena said. i guess my dad was right about the persassy running in the Jackson family.
long story short Charlie got all sassy on me as well as Silena when we were little so i asked my dad abot it and he said it was because of persassy being run in the family. well i'm glad i'm not the only one who gets sassed on.
"guys I may not be an Apollo legacy or anything but i'm pretty sure Jake needs to be in serious amount of pain" Michael said
"yea we know. it's probably because he's still in shock. kayla help me get Jake in he can't put too much to no weight at all on his foot" said the guy Apollo kid. while they were getting Jake slowly inside Silena told us to hold on to her to get us inside.
once we were inside we saw Jake sitting on a bed while they told us to go to an empty one.right next to him.
"so Silena you can take valdez me and will can take Jake and Michael" a girl Apollo camper said.
"already got it" she said
"did you just call me an it" I said
"yup" she said popping out the 'p' " called you an it because to me you are a thing and not a person" wow that was definitely not hurtful (sarcasm)
"why?" I asked "I don't need to answer that" she replied
"stay.here. I'm going to get an ice pack for your head" she said "like you need to tell me to stay. it freaking hurts to move a muscle" I said. I am not even exaggerating. I may not have a twisted ankle like Jake, but I can tell you what I do have. a billion of my internal and external body parts aching from the most brutal beating I have ever gotten.
"bro she's got you hooked" Jake said in he bed next to me while kayla was wrapping his ankle up.
"and how is that" I asked skeptically. this guy does not know when to shut up.
"you guys fight like an old married couple. and other than that your attempts to flirt with her are really low considering the fact that there's a 90% chance that she hates you" he says trying to reason.
I got to admit he does have a point theres more a chance that she would want to skin me with her dagger and use me as her target as practice with her bow and arrows than she actually having secret feelings for me.
"whats the other 10%?" I asked
"oh that theres always Michael from the way she looked at him in truth or dare 5% or me another 5%" he answered. when I finally doe the math I realized that I wasn't anywhere on that chart.
"where am I on this?" I asked
"oh did I forget to mention she probably doesn't like you at all"
"what the fuck man! at least give me 1% . and besides what chance have you got with her you don't even like her like that!"
"well not completely . but I got more than you: don't you remember the times when we were kids when me and silena watched The little mermaid she asked me to play Eric and she be Ariel." he defended. I remember those times.
"we were little it doesn't count and like I said before you don't like her like that. at least not like I do." I muttered the last part
"alright im back" silenas voice said coming up to the bed.
and that's when the torture started...
