"𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰? 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐝" Journey asked her mother who smiled at her daughter.

"Yeah you can but I have to drive you up there 'cause I talked to Brooke so you're gonna be backstage with him," Jasiah told her daughter who grew taller a bit but still looked the same.

Journey nodded putting her coat on as she talked to her mom "I can't believe I was gone for three years Mom I thought I was only staying with Dad for a week" She complained The older woman sighed nodding her head as they walked out of the house into the cold night.

"I know baby it was just I had to take care of some stuff plus I heard you had fun down there they had you in five magazines" Her mom spoke as they got in the car driving off "Yeah it was fun but I wish I could've visited I missed the boys a lot I mean they kept me updated calling me expect for Ricky I know he was mad that I didn't come right back like I said I was but I mean I didn't even know myself".

Jasiah looked over at her daughter in the passenger seat who was frowning "He'll understand when he sees you everything is gonna be the same" She told her but Journey kept frowning which confused her until she spoke up "Mom I know why I was with dad for three years I saw the papers".

Jasiah's heart dropped in her stomach as she stopped at the light looking back over at Journey who already was looking at her with tears in her eyes "I know about the cancer Mom" she said quietly The woman stared at her daughter not sure what to say knowing that she wanted to keep the secret away from her but she fount out The light turned green making Jasiah put her eyes back on the road.

The rest of the car ride was silent as they pulled up to the show Jasiah turned the car off looking back over at her daughter who was looking out the window "I couldn't tell you Journey I just couldn't I mean your just a kid" she started to explain.

Journey turned her head looking at her mother  "That doesn't mean anything your My Mom you could've told me but instead you avoided it by not answering my calls then I came back and I went into your room and boom! I see the papers on your bed three years Mom you had to fight by yourself when you shouldn't have" She told her as a tear slipped out her eye.

Jasiah's heart hurt as she looked at her little girl crying "I'm sorry your right I should've told you I shouldn't have ignored you it's just I don't need you stopping anything for me I wouldn't forgive myself" Journey unbuckled her seat belt hugging her mom in a tight embrace.

"I'm just glad your okay I mean it's gone right?" The curly-haired girl asked pulling away "That's what they said but if it does come back you'll be the first person to know so no more secrets" Her mom answered which made Journey smile "Now come on let me walk you in here cause your already late".

"𝐖𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝!" Mike, Ricky, Ralph, and Bobby all stopped pulling away from each other turning around and looking at their old friend.

"Hey guys" Journey waved almost immediately Bobby charged at her picking her up and hugging her tight making the girl laugh "Your back!" He said happily as the other boys rushed over Bobby sat her down as Mike and Ralph pulled her into an embrace "Welcome back Jay we missed you" Mike told her as they pulled away.
