Third Person

Everyone was getting ready for the arrival of the Pines kingdom. Dipper was waiting for Maybell to show up with everything that he needed to get ready. He sat in front of the mirror and started to give himself a small pep talk. He was nervous and praying to the stars that everything will go as planned.

He heard a soft knock on the door and answered quickly. Maybell came with the things that would help him look human again. She saw how anxious Dipper was and sat down with him to reassure him that everything will go smoothly.

Maybell stayed with Dipper since she was going to help him put on the corset-like device to hide his wings. It took them a couple minutes to put it on since none of them really knew what they were doing. Maybell understood the corset part of it, but not the wing part of it and the instructions were from old English so it was a little hard to understand. They finally got it and Dipper put on a regular shirt. Maybell gave Dipper a new black choker with new stones that could hide his fairy features.

He put it on and then looked at himself in the mirror to see everything put together. He touched the reflection on the mirror and all he could see was a stranger.

"Is everything alright?" Maybell asked.
"No," DIpper muttered.
"Why is that?" Maybell asked.
"I feel like whatever I do I'll always be trapped," Dipper said, "I'll always have to come back to a person that will always be trapped into a life that they do not want. I've tasted freedom and now I'm worried that I'll be trapped again. All I see is a stranger too..."
Maybell placed her hand on his shoulder, "You know what I see?"
"What do you see?" Dipper asked her.
"Someone that was trying to survive a difficult situation," Maybell told him, "I promise that your freedom will not be taken away."
"I'm just scared," Dipper hugged himself.
"It's okay," Maybell said.

Dipper and Maybell walked towards the room where the visit was going to happen. Dipper found it a bit odd since trying to sit down in the corset. It had been an hour and still no one had come yet. A part of him was hoping that they wouldn't show arrive and they had to cancel, but he did miss his sister.

Dipper heard a soft knock on the door and quickly stood up waiting for someone to open the door from the other side.

"Sapling?" Bill said through the door.
"It's only the two of us," Will said right after.
"You two can come in," Dipper said.

The brothers opened the door and came in. Will and Bill had gotten used to seeing Dipper in his natural form.

"Are you nervous?" Will asked.
"I am," Dipper said, "I'm just hoping that this will work."
"You look human," Will said.
"I feel odd," Dipper said.
"Why so?" Will asked.
"I've gotten used to my natural form," Dipper said.

Bill was just staring at Dipper's waist and without thinking he grabbed his waist.

"Your waist has gotten smaller," Bill said.
"Bill!" Will shouted.
"It's because of this corset," Dipper turned around to face him.
"Corset?" Bill questioned.
"It was used in the past to help fairies hide their wings," Dipper explained, "Are you going to keep holding me?"
"Sorry," Bill let go.
"You shouldn't have held him like that regardless," Will crossed his arms, "It's inappropriate."
"Do you think they'll notice that you're wearing one?" Bill asked.
"I don't think they'll notice, but my sister might," Dipper answered, "She won't say anything."

They heard a loud knock and they all stared at the door.

A maid opened the door and announced, "Mabel Pines from the Pines Kingdom."
