Third Person
It had been a few sinces Pyronica had found out about Bill's proposal. Ever since then she has been helping him fully plan out what was going to happen the day he was going to propose. When lunch was ending Dipper stood up and everyone looked at him in curiosity.
"Are you all busy after lunch?" Dipper asked.
"No," Will answered.
"Not really," Bill said.
"Is it important?" Tad asked.
"A bit," Dipper muttered.
"Why don't you do it without me," Tad said.
"I need everyone or I can do it another day," Dipper told him.
Tad thought about it and he wasn't doing anything until later, "How long would this take?"
Dipper thought about it and answered, "Maybe an hour of your time or shorter."
"Then I can," Tad said, "Is this some sort of surprise?"
"Yes," Dipper smiled.
"Shall we go now or do you need a moment?" Will asked.
"I need Maybell to come as well," Dipper said.
"I don't know where she is," Bill mumbled.
"I heard my name," Maybell entered the room.
"Are you busy?" Dipper asked her.
"Not at the moment," Maybell told him.
"To the garden," Dipper smiled. The four followed Dipper outside to the garden. They were all confused with what was going on, but they were interested at the same time. Bill and Will were guessing what the surprise could be, but Dipper kept saying that they were wrong.
Tad recognized where they were at. It was the tree where Alcor proposed to Mizar years ago. They all saw a candle, a bell, and a bag of salt. Dipper lit the candle and started to set everything up.
"I-I wanted to say thank you for everything you all have done for me. For sharing your home with me, your lives, and so much more," He made a pretty large circle around them with the salt, "I wanted to do something special for you all. Without your kindness and generosity I wouldn't be free. They thought it would be a nice surprise for you."
Dipper was now behind them and their backs were now facing the candle.
"They?" Maybell questioned.
"You'll see," Dipper smiled before chanting in fairy-ish.The candle went out and they heard soft familiar chuckles. Tad was the first one to turn around and his eyes widened in disbelief. Tad quickly tapped the boy's shoulders and told them to turn around. Everyone was now facing the tree and everyone was in shock.
"M-Mizar," Tad managed to muster out.
"Dad!" Will cried out.
"Mom!" Bill cried. The boys quickly raced up to them, but they were hesitant to touch them. They didn't know if they could even touch them.
"You two have grown so much," Mizar said.
"We've missed you," Alcor said.Mizar and Alcor hugged their sons. Will began to cry as he mumbled how much he had missed them. Bill cried, but he didn't say a word. After a bit of hugging and crying they let go of each other. Mizar slowly walked up to Tad and they stared at each other for a moment.
"It's been so long since I've seen my big brother," Mizar said, "Tad..."
Tad hugged her and muttered, "I've missed you so much little sister."
"So have I," Mizar hugged him back. After a few minutes Tad had finally let go of his sister. Alcor hugged his brother in law tight and then missed up his hair. Mizar went up to Maybell and held her hands tight as she smiled at her.
"My dearest friend, how I've missed you," Mizar said.
"I've kept my promise," Maybell told her.
Mizar hugged her, "Thank you for everything my dear."After their embrace Mizar stood next to her husband and held his arm. Will was trying to compose himself since he couldn't stop crying. Bill was still in shock about this whole situation and didn't know rather to cry or smile.
"Did the young prince plan this?" Maybell asked.
"We all did, but it took us a while to sort this out," Mizar told them, "It took a while to summon this one."
"I will not apologize," Alcor rolled his eyes.
"Hehehe," Mizar chuckled while poking his nose, "You just got lost."
"How much time do we have?" Bill asked.
Alcor looked at Mizar and back at him, "As much as he can give us."
"He is strong, but with his history, only so much," Mizar answered.
"Let's treasure the time we have with another," Alcor smiled softly, "It's been a while."Will went into his fathers arms and hugged him again. Bill held his mothers hand and smiled at her. They all talked to each other and caught up with one another. What they didn't know was that they would sometimes watch them while they lived their lives. They knew certain things already, but didn't want to spoil anything for them.
Time passed quickly and they're conversation was soon to end. Will couldn't feel the warmth of his father anymore and fell through. He caught himself and tried to hug him again, but it only lasted a couple of seconds before falling through again.
"N-No, it can't be over yet," Will said.
"I'm afraid so," Alcor felt it.
Mizar teared up, "I fear so..."
Tad hugged Mizar tightly, "I love you."
"I love you too," Mizar hugged him back before turning back to Maybell.
"I'll take good care of everyone," Maybell smiled softly.
"I know you will," Mizar smiled.
"Maybell, make sure they do great things in life," Alcor told her.
"I promise," Maybell told him.Alcor talked to Will and told him how proud of the person that he has become. Will cried and promised that he'll make him proud and do so much more.
Mizar cupped Bill's cheeks and whispered, "Make sure you give him everything and so much more. I love you, Bill."
"You know?" Bill muttered.
Mizar winked and kissed his forehead, "Make it special baby."
Bill nodded, "I love you too, mom."Mizar grabbed Alcor's arm and they both walked away and disappeared once they stepped out of the circle.
"They're gone," Tad said.
"This was nice," Maybell took a deep breath. They all suddenly heard a thud and turned around to see Dipper on the ground. Bill quickly raced to see if he was okay.
"Are you okay?" Bill helped him sit up.
"Did I spoil the moment?" Dipper asked him.
Bill held his hand and told him, "Not at all...Thank you for this."
