Chapter 2: Don't fall in love with me

As Lin and Eun grew closer each day, they shared about their past lives and the challenges they had faced. Eun seemed unable to be away from Lin, texting her every hour and displaying clingy behavior. On the other hand, Lin, still feeling lonely and depressed after the events in her marriage, found solace in Eun. She had become reliant on him.

As weeks and months passed, Eun and Lin became even more comfortable with each other. Eun consistently checked in on Lin, making sure he had time for her almost every day. He expressed his feelings towards Lin, emphasizing how special she was to him and how she stood out from others he had known.

Lin is a event planner who works in Canada. Her life has been busy attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and she recently completed the biggest event for a roadshow. Since being diagnosed with depression and anxiety, Lin has learned to manage her time for her children, herself, and work. This helps her better understand her body signals and recognize when a relapse is approaching.

One morning, Eun received a text from Lin expressing intense anxiety and panic while on her way to the event. She was apprehensive about facing the crowd and afraid of public exposure. Despite Eun's usual preference for written communication, Lin, in a moment of need, requested a call for support. Despite Eun's initial reluctance, Lin's plea prompted him to make an exception. Within minutes, Lin received a call from Eun, marking their first spoken conversation after months of texting. Excitement and nervousness overwhelmed Lin as she saw Eun's name on her call screen. Despite the initial apprehension, hearing Eun's manly and comforting voice brought her a sense of security. Eun used words of encouragement and support to calm Lin, who felt much better after the conversation, sensing Eun's comforting presence.

That night, Eun expressed his deep feelings for Lin, declaring his love for her. Lin maintained her silence, grappling with uncertainty about her own feelings for Eun.
