Chapter 4: Tender love

Night falls quickly, something Lin always looks forward to, a call from Eun. Since they started dating, Eun has been a little possessive of Lin. He frequently checks the time to ensure she finishes work on time, worried she might get caught in traffic. There were a few occasions when Lin was stuck in a massive traffic jam for nearly two hours, and Eun would keep her company, nagging like an old man while she drove home.

Lin, on the other hand, feels grateful. Her once-quiet drives home is no longer lonely. Most of the time, if Eun is available, he keeps her company during the drive, ensuring she arrives home safely. She genuinely cherishes these moments.

They could plan virtual dates, like watching Netflix together or sharing meals online. Lin wished Eun could commit to her requests, but in the end, she always received the same answer from him: "No, not now. The time will come soon."

Eun made many promises to Lin, making her feel safe and secure in his care. It even reached a point where he wanted Lin to take an oath with him. As part of this oath, Eun swore on his father's grave, promising never to break her heart, disappoint her, or make her feel sad. Lin had never encountered such strong promises from anyone before. Since they are in a long-distance relationship, there are limited things they can do together. Lin has never stopped sending Eun pictures of what she's up to, whether she's spending time with her children or working on paperwork and planning. Eun often reminds Lin that work will never truly end, no matter how high the piles get. He emphasizes that she must not forget her responsibilities as a mother to her two beautiful children, who are always hungry for her attention and time.

Eun has been very supportive, offering suggestions for activities Lin could do with her children on the weekends. He also requested fairness in how the children are cared for, albeit in a virtual way, as he wants to show his affection for them. His willingness to accept Lin's children as his own has been a blessing.

Their daily conversations and texts have only deepened Lin's feelings for Eun. Eun constantly expresses his gratitude for Lin coming into his life and transforming his world. She has brought color back into his once-dark life. The love they share is tender, and in those beautiful moments, they forget the past, fully immersing themselves in their new life, filled with devotion, emotion, and affection. What makes Eun fall in love even more is Lin's radiant smile, with her dimples that melt his heart. Whenever he misses her or feels stressed at work, he sends her a text...

In response, Lin would take as many pictures of herself as she could and send them to him. To be fair, Lin also wanted pictures of Eun, so they exchanged photos throughout the day.
