Chapter 6: Sneaking Out

LENA'S POINT OF VIEW

I woke up to the sound a wind chimes, looking around I saw that the entire room was covered in crystal "Wh...where am I ?" I asked sitting up "Oh good your awake" A woman dresses in red with the white rose symbol, marking her as a healer on her left shoulder, She had short brown hair and lively green eyes, she was medium hight. "How long was I out?" She smiled "One night" I breathed a sigh of relief "And Lilac?" She looked like she wanted to laugh "Still out, you did one hell of a number on her" I growned internally. Why did I have to go and lose my temper again " I'm in big trouble, aren't I?" Her smile faded a bit "I don't know, but the Queen did ask me to send you to her once you were awake" My heart sank "Then lets get it over with" I whispered as I got up and put on my shoes "I'll take you" .

I followed her down to a part of the school Ava had told me was forbidden for student "What is this place?" I asked taking in all of the portrets on the wall "This is the teachers wing, it's were the Queen stayes during her visits and were the teachers live" I nodded, I kept looking at the portrets on the wall. I stopped on portret caught my attention "Mom" I said softly. The painting on the wall was of a young princess that looked exactly like my mother, but my mother wasn't royal she was a rebel. "Are you alright" I shook my thought away "Yes, I just thought that woman looked familiar" She smiled "That's princess Alana, one of Queen Sesalee's daughters. Have you ever heard of the lost princess?" I thought back "Yes Ava told me about her, so that's her?" She nodded "She was a very kind hearted person and a very powerful one too, she saved a lot of lives". If she was suppose to be the Enchantrix, why'd she run, I thought to myself.

"Because she wanted to protect something" I jumped at the voice answering behind me "Your Majesty!" I bowed once I saw who the voice belonged to "Please Lena, there's no need for you to bow" She motioned me to get up "You can read minds?" She laughed "Yes in a way, let's put it this way only when the thoughts are strong enough to attract my attention" I nodded while silently cursing myself, what if I had thought about the rebels. If she had heard anything about my dad or Saya, I would be dead. "Come with me Lena" I nodded as I followed her silently and thoughtless "Am I in trouble?" I asked softly. She turned her gaze to me "Why would you think that?" I didn't meet her eyes "Because I fought with Lilac" She smiled "No, it's seen as self defense Lena. Ryder told us what happend" I didn't answer back.

I retreated back into my mind 'I lost control again, Fujimore warned me and yet I lost control anywhy' "Lena, you can take a seat" I sat down and saw that her advisor was in the room too "This is Alexander my advisor and friend. Alexander this is Lena" He smiled "It's a pleasure to meet you" I nodded "Your majesty why do you want to speak to me?" She took a seat opposite me and Alexander stayed were he was near the window "Well now that's the interesting part" She sat forward in her chair "Ava came to me last night after she woke up, she wanted me to take you with us to the castle" I kept quite as she spoke "So I agreed and went to Viola to get the names of your parents." I froze, my entire life was a secret to the school and even to me "She told me you have none to contact. Which brings me to the question are you a orphane?" I relaxed a little "No, I have a dad, he's just on the battlefield and well my mom she's thought to be dead" She frowned "I see. What happend to her?" I could feel the anger and power within me grow, I was starting to lose control again.

"I don't want to talk about it, it's a hard topic to discuss" Both the Queen and Alexander watched me closely "Why Lena?" I took a deep breath "Because she got killed in front of me" Silence fell in the room and with the silence my mind fell into a deeper darkness threatning to break loose and fight. I closed my eyes and thought of a song my mother use to sing to me, I had forgotten her voice but remebering the song made me hear her voice and I calmed down. When I opened my eyes the Queen's blue eyes were watching me, her eyes were glossy like she felt what I felt when hearing my mother's voice "May I go now your majesty?" She nodded "Before you do Lena, do you want to come to the castle with Ava and your other friends?" Every fiber in my body said no but a voice in the back of my head told me to go and I listened to it "Please your majesty" She smiled "Good" .
