Watching the two play a round of Monkey Mech, unfortunately, you didn't notice the two stares you were receiving across the street

"Button mash all you want, MK! You'll never beat my Ancient Galloping Fury Power!" Mei smirked her demeanour was calm while mk was furiously pressing buttons

"Up smash, up smash!" Sandy exclaimed behind mk while you chuckled at MK's desperation not to lose against Mei

"I'm trying, Sandy. Okay!? I'm trying! I'm trying!" Mk exclaimed in a panic tone pressing the button

Mei lets out a laugh her arm to press the button raising to defeat mk "No one can defeat me!" Her laughs were cut off by her phone ringing

you four looked to Mei, who took her phone out mei blinked and sighed when she saw it was her mom

while you smiled remembering her and Mr.dragons nice hospitality when you and you're sister visited

"Oh boy..." Mei mumbled turning away from the game while you noticed mk turning his head towards the machine and walking a bit away

"Hi, Mom," Mei said, you stare unamused that mk was using this opportunity to defeat mei game character though you found it cute when he let out a small giggle

"Y-yes, O-of course! No- I-" Mei lets out a small defeated sigh "Yes, Mother..." Mei said then she gleamed with happiness

"Wait they can?!" Mei exclaimed with happiness "Oh- uh Y/n! My mother says hi" Mei said turning to you and you blinked in confusion

"Oh uh, Hello Mrs. Dragon!" You said to the phone as Mei put it on speaker "Hello to you to y/n"

Mei hung up the phone and gave a defeated sigh but a smile was on her face

"Hey, you okay there, Mei?" Sandy asked as Mei nods

"Oh! Yeah- yeah... It's just-" Mei and Sandy were cut off by the game's voice speaking out

It turns out mk defeated Mei's avatar, you just rolled your eyes as you looked at Mei

"My parents -- they want me to housesit." Mk blinks in surprise when he hears housesit.

"And that's a bad thing?" Sandy asked as Mei shook her head

" No-" Mei lets out a small awkward laugh "Me and my parents, we --"

Mk pops beside Mei "Uh, did Mei say sleepover at her house?!"mk said posing and somehow having Pjs that were monkey king theme on

"Wha!? No. My parents would want-" Mei was cut off by mk

"Sleepover! I've always wanted to see inside Mei's secret Dragon House full of secret dragon stuff..." mk said as the atmosphere around him turned dark

"Come on! please? Please, please, please, please, please?" Mk begs, and you gently flick his forehead "Ow!"

"Mk, if Mei doesn't feel comfortable with having us at her house then we shouldn't go," you said tapping your feet on the ground as mk pouts puffing his cheeks
