I stared after them as the weird Chaos people ran off to go to their cabin or whatever. They were odd, but seemed nice enough. The one guy seemed to have something for Neos though, I could definitely tell.

Ugh, stop it, you're acting like Mom again! I mentally scolded myself. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I ran off to get the rest of the six.

On my way to the training grounds, where I knew Annabeth would be, I bumped into Leo and Jason.

"Hey you two, I was just looking for you all. We need to have a meeting with the six and camp counselors in ten minutes. Think you can let Hazel and Frank know?"

Leo groaned. "Aww man! We were just about to go down to bunker nine to create a prank for the Ares kids-"

Jason interrupted. "What? That's what you wanted me to come with you for? No way. Nuh uh. I am not doing that. Do you know how mad Elis will be at me if I mess up her cabin? Nope. Not worth it, dude." I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Ugh, please stop arguing and just go let them know, okay? Hurry up and don't be late!"

"Yes Ma'am!" Leo saluted me, and I laughed while Jason and I shared a quick kiss. I continued my way to let Annabeth know while the two boys ran past me, shoving each other around and generally acting like boys.

I reached where Annabeth stood, viciously ripping up a dummy with her dagger. I tapped her shoulder and was forced to jump back when she turned and swung her dagger down towards my jaw with enough momentum I knew she wouldn't be able to stop the swing before it hit me. I whipped out Katoptris and crossed my blade with hers, the clang echoing throughout the arena.

"Oops, sorry Piper, didn't realize it was you." Annabeth dropped the dagger and looked at me, the gleam in her eye that was always there after a fight.

"S'alright," I responded casually, spinning Katoptris before sliding it back into its saya at my side. "We have a meeting with the six and camp counselors to discuss the newcomers, you coming?"

"Mmh, I'll come. Who are the newcomers?"

"I'll explain on the way, let's go."

By the time the "Chaos kids" (as everyone had taken to calling them) reached the Big House and got seated, we had already decided what we were going to do. Chiron had explained to us what they were here for, and we decided to keep an eye on them but trust them overall.

The entire army decided to show up, and it was pretty cramped. Also awkward. All of them were wearing these weird white masks that covered their faces, but it wasn't necessary as we couldn't focus on them at all. Every time we tried, our attention was diverted elsewhere and no one could seem to get a good look. It was incredibly frustrating and got more so as we continued the meeting.

There was Diavolos, who was discussing something quietly in the corner along with Angelos and Asteria. They looked serious and their faces were grim. I hope everything is okay.

Then there was Didymo, falling asleep on Farsa's shoulder while Metallo tried to wake him up, making Farsa laugh hysterically. Peristeri chuckled at them and shook her head as if laughing at their stupidness. I got the feeling her and I would be great friends.

Mageia, Sothike, and Neos were all staring at each other, their faces replicating the Spiderman meme(yes, I know what that is. I don't live under a rock, for gods' sake!) Something looked seriously wrong.

Just then, Neos stepped forward. "Hello, campers and camp leaders. Many of you may know me already, but for those who don't, my name is Colonel Commander Neos, primary commander of the Chaos Army. My second-in-command is Lieutenant Colonel Commander Sothike, secondary commander of the Chaos Army. Then there is Admiral Captain Commander Asteria, Vice Admiral Commander Metallo, Admiral Commander Angelos, Division Commander Peristeri, Division Commander Didymo, Division Commander Farsa, Division Commander Mageia, and last but most definitely not least, my beautiful girlfriend, Division Commander Diavolos. You may call us only by our codenames unless we tell you otherwise. I assume Director Chiron has already explained the situation. Are there any questions?"

"Why won't you reveal your identities?" Shouted Leo.

"Some of us have a past here and don't wish to be judged by our past actions." Sothike butted in. Annabeth squinted suspiciously.

"How long will you be staying?"

"As long as it takes for the war to end," Angelos said. Farsa snorted.

"That means we'll be out in about a week." He muttered. Clamour broke out with that statement. Chiron yelled for everyone to be quiet and eventually ushered us out the door of the Big House. I met up with Hazel and Frank on the way, and we discussed our thoughts about the Chaos Army, the war, all of it. From the looks of it, this was going to be a long week.
