I was dreaming of snowflakes and amazing snowmen when an alarm started going off, breaking me from my slumber. The owner of the alarm was Sangyeon, who was right below me.

"Did you really need to set an alarm for this early?" I complained

"You know we have something to do this morning"

"What was that again?"

"You were going to a recording session and I'm going to a bird sanctuary"

"Right..."

I yawned loudly before climbing down and going to get ready. My roommate looked at his phone and he gasped out of shock.

"The managers are already downstairs" He said.

"Ai-shi!" I muttered, almost cursing.

I threw on a jacket and some sweatpants hurriedly and left, waving goodbye to him. I was trying to be as quiet as I could to avoid waking up anyone else I went downstairs to meet my manager, who was just waiting in the car for me.

"Come on, we're supposed to be on the road now," He said stern but mellow.

I got in the car and we pulled away, when my manager dropped something important on me.

"We're going to a farm tomorrow"

"What?"

"Your going to a farm to learn how to hold a chicken for your movie shoot in a few weeks"

"Okay"

I was confused but didn't let that phase me too much as we pulled up to the company building.

The nexy day rolled around quickly and I was woken up at the same time in order to reach the farm before this afternoon. The drive was a lot longer than I expected, but then again I live in the city. As I stared out the window, a sudden jolt shook me in my seat. The bumpiness quickly subsided though as we made it to the top of a mini hill, next to a small farmhouse.

"We're here" My manager reminded me even though I could tell.

I got out and was met with a cold breeze and pungent smell of farm animals.

"Welcome!" A random voice called from up the hill.

I looked up the hill to see a woman wearing a solid color dress with boots to match.

"My husband's out by the coop feedin' the chickens, gettin' 'em ready for yah. Who's workin' with the chickens today?"

I raised my hand.

"Great, did ya' wanna go ahead down 'ere, or wait up here in the house?"

My manager was quick to answer with the farmhouse, to which the lady turned on her heel and walked up the hill.

I trekked behind the lady up to her quaint little farmhouse. Inside is the most cozy home I ever been in. It was warm, and smelled of gingerbread and sugar plums. I took off my boots by the door and went to the dining table right next to a bay window, looking out on the field.

"Want some hot chocolate dear?" The lady asked me politely.

"Yes please, and do you have any cookies too?"

"Gingerbread"

"Can have some of those too please?"

"Sure thing"
