Kayden's POV

"Yes, we drank last night. So I stayed there because I wasn't in the state to drive a car." I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck. He nodded.

"Umm... By the way, last evening I saw you with some chick."

My brother's face paled as soon as he heard about it.

"Why didn't you tell us about her? You hid her from me as well." I frowned.

He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "Virginia wants us to keep our relationship a secret." He replied sadly.

"Why? Is she married?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.

"No, she isn't."

"Then why?" I asked, puzzled.

"She is a painter. Virginia doesn't want everyone to think that she archived success and fame because she is dating me." Jayden informed me.

"Wait a minute!... So you rented an art gallery for her? I saw how much you spent for that when I checked the monthly payments." I commented, rubbing my chin.

"Yes, she had wanted to exhibit her art for a long time. So I helped her. She didn't want to accept it, but I insisted." My brother confessed.

I frowned, feeling uncomfortable about it. When I was confused about the payment, I checked the payments of the last three months to see which event was hosted there because I didn't remember such kind of thing. Actually, I was suspicious about our finance director.

When I saw the same amount money transferred to the same bank account every month and a quiet amount of money spent for a car, my suspicion grew. I was going to talk to my father about it because I knew my brother didn't buy any car or exhibit his art despite the fact the finance director told me that my brother made these purchases. My brother was good at painting, but he never dreamed of exhibiting his art.

After graduating, I had rarely seen him drawing; he was focused on our family business.

"Jay... Are you sure there isn't anything fishy about her?" I asked him, concerned.

He frowned. "Of course not. Virginia loves me. When she feels ready, I will introduce her to Mom and Dad." My brother replied confidently. I sighed and nodded. "Sorry, but I have to leave now. I am going to have a breakfast with Virginia." Jayden added, giving me a bright smile.

I nodded, forcing a smile. "See you later."

"See you." He tapped on my shoulder and left in a hurry.

As soon as the meeting ended, I grabbed my files and left the conference room in a hurry. I had another meeting outside in thirty minutes.

When I was passing by my brother's office, I heard noises coming from inside. Jayden was arguing with some woman.

As their voices were getting louder, I decided to go to his office and see what was going on.

When I wanted to knock on the door, suddenly, the door opened, and Clara left the office, crying.

Clara was my brother's friend. They met at a drawing class when they were children. Everyone in our family liked her; she was a lovely girl.

"Clara? What happened?" I asked worriedly.

"I am sorry." She mumbled and left quickly.

I frowned in confusion and walked into my twin's office. He was pacing back and forth, resting his hands on his hips, looking angry.

"What happened? Why was Clara crying?" I asked, puzzled as soon as I closed the door behind me. I frowned and approached my brother as he didn't reply, still pacing in the office like a wild animal. "Jay? What is going on?" I asked, placing my files on his desk, and grabbed his shoulder, stopping him.

"Nothing." He snapped angrily.

I raised my eyebrow. "Because of it, Clara left your office crying, and you look like a wild animal ready to pounce on someone." I asked mockingly. "I have never seen you two arguing before. You always get along very well."

"Kayden!" My twin exclaimed angrily.

"Jay! I have a meeting in thirty minutes. I don't want to be late, but I won't leave you alone till you tell me what is going on." I stated firmly and leaned against his desk, folding my arms over my chest.

Jayden exhaled loudly. "We argued because of Virginia." He informed me, frustrated.

"Why?" I asked, puzzled.

"Clara... She thinks that Virginia is using me. She warned me to be careful." My brother replied
sarcastically and shook his head in disbelief. "But I know why she acts like this. Virginia warned me that Clara is in love with me, but I didn't believe her, telling Virginia that Clara and I are just friends."

I rubbed my chin and breathed deeply. "Maybe, Clara is right."

Jayden gave me a murderous look. "No, not you too." He shook his head and gave me a mocking
smirk.

I sighed sadly. "Jay..."

"Kayden, stop it. Virginia and I love each other. Moreover, you don't even know her." Jayden
stated in irritation.

"I am just worried for you as well as Clara." I gave him a compassionate look.

"There is nothing to worry about. Please, Kade. I don't want to argue with you." My twin said, annoyed and stormed out. I heaved a loud sigh, shaking my head as I grabbed my files and left my brother's office.

Hazel's POV

I was sipping my coffee while talking to Celeste in our living room. My parents went on a vacation for two days. So I asked my best friend to join me and have a sleepover like in childhood.

"You are sleepy." I commented, amused as she kept yawning.

"Sorry, today was a hectic day in the company." She said, tired. "Even coffee doesn't help."

"Does my brother tire you so much?" I asked mischievously.

She rolled her eyes. "Fortunately, I haven't seen him yet. Does he work there? Or is he busy with partying?"

"No, don't worry you will see him soon. By the way, he has been angry the last few days." I replied. "So it is better if you don't see him." I winked at her playfully.

"I can't run away from my fate, huh?" She sighed.
"Nope. Be ready to fight with my brother again." I commented wickedly.

"It was good to hear your horror stories, but I hold my eyes open barely. It will be better if I take a shower and go to bed." Celeste told me and stood up.

"Sure. You know where my bedroom is. I will call Jayden and come to the room after talking to him." I said warmly as I grabbed my phone and stood up.

She nodded and left the living room. I called my boyfriend and went to the garden to get a fresh air.

Once I finished talking to Jayden, I walked towards my bedroom. Suddenly, I heard Celeste's scream. I rushed to my room in worry.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I saw my brother in my room. He was staring at my friend, dumbfounded. Meanwhile, Celeste was covering her naked body with her hands as much as possible, her towel at her feet, her cheeks crimson red.

"Call the police, Hazel." Celeste told me in fear as she grabbed her towel quickly and wrapped it around her body.

"Yes, call the police." Joshua ordered me and turned his gaze from me to my frightened friend.

"What are you doing here?" My brother asked Celeste angrily as he rested his hands on his hips
walking towards my friend like a predator approaching its prey.

"Don't come near me!" My friend warned Joshua in panic, taking a few steps backwards.
