"Yeah, you missed Mumma?" Avni asked to baby Aru, who looked ecstatic and finally at peace of having the warmth of her mother that she was familiar with beside her. She had missed her mom for a week now, and was constantly crying today so Neil had no option rather than let her be near her mom.

Mother is a constant Neil. No one can fulfill that place. The first one to feel the heartbeat of the child is mother, and that child will forever keen to hear it again as long as she is seperated from her. He suddenly remembered Bebe's words towards him, watching him in pity as he tried everything that he could to calm the little soul.

"I tried everything." He sighed. Somewhere in his heart he felt like he did not understood his daughter, and that she only calmed down when with her mother not with him. "I guess she is upset. With me." He whispered in agony. Felt like he lost himself and the grip he had on life.

"I'm sorry." For everything. Avni muttered feeling instantly guilty for everything she had caused him. Protect him. Yes that was what she wanted. But hurt him? Never in her wildest dreams. Perhaps this might be the punishment she deserve for keeping the only light in her life at dark. And she was ready to accept it. Already did. She will live along because mauth ko bhi nahi chahiye. So she will live with the guilt drowning her, all those words he had let out in anger that was craved on her brain until she succumbs to death.

A long silence. "Her first word was Papa." Avni smiled remembering the tiniest voice still ringing inside her head. Neil snapped. His eyes gleamed. "Really?" He asked in disbelief, couldn't believe even when she nodded once again. "Par... kaise---"

"I had your photograph and I used to show it to her. Even when she was crying badly at night, she just needed your photo to calm down." Avni said in a jiffy as if she just wanted to calm him down. She also remembered Aarya calling out for Neil that night and how everything just went out of her hand.

Neil didn't know what to do with that information. Avni had always kept him close.

"I... How's marriage prep?" She asked, in order to avoid the awkwardness surrounding them."Fine. Mitali takes care of it. "

Avni didn't respond. So he continued. "Sunehri kaise ho? Aur Bache?"

"They all left. Bandra. I arranged a nice home there so they all left. I can't leave this job so I had to stay." Avni explained, rubbing the top of Aru's nose with hers.

"Left.. So you're alone there?!" He exclaimed, a sudden worry creeping through his veins. "You could've just called me... or dad--"

"It's okay Neil. Not the first time." She said as if it was so normal. It was her normal. "And I'm not staying there any longer."

"Matlab?"

"Kia, my friend who is in London will be here in just  days and right now I'm staying at her apartment here. We will be staying there for a month until I get my passport and Visa ready." Avni spoke calmly.

She is going.

"You're leaving.... again." He said, his voice calm but greased with anger. "I know. But this time, for good."
