°Y/n's POV°Minho ran inside the maze, by himself. He looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back at him, even though I felt nauseous. We both ran to section 2. I arrived 30 minutes before Minho did. I took a few breaths. As Minho turned the corner, I looked at the next corner to make sure, there weren't any grievers. I didn't see none.
"Am I good?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yea, there is nothing here" I called back. I went to another corner and stopped. The walls were changing. Minho turned the corner and stopped, hearing the scratching.
"The walls are shifting!" I yelled. He nodded and turned the other way. One passage way opened and he went inside. The only way for me to keep up was to jump to the next wall. I took a deep breath and sprinted towards the edge. I jumped and caught the edge of the wall. I pulled myself up and ran to catch up to my brother. I heard a terrifying shriek. I ran faster to see what it was. I was ahead of Minho now. My eyes widened as I stopped running. I turned to Minho and threw a tiny pebble. He looked at me and I shook my head. Minho stopped running. His eyes widened. If I didn't act soon, my brother would be griever food. I looked through my bag and found eighteen different hunting knives. There was a lot of viles of poison in my bag too. I opened a vile of poison and poured it on one of the hunting knives. The griever inched closer to my brother. The griever saw my brother and shrieked. I sat down my bag and whistled. The griever looked at me. I took a deep breath and threw the hunting knife at it. The hunting knife pierced it's skin and the griever shrieked in pain.
"What the hell did you do?!" Minho asked with terror in his voice. I adjusted my gloves, so they didn't slip off.
"Poison on the knife trick!" I yelled. The griever wobbled and fell, collapsing onto the floor. It was dead. Minho walked up to it and poked it.
"My sister killed a Griever!!" He shouted proudly. He took the knife out of the griever and wiped it on the vines. The poison wasn't on it no more. I smiled.
"Well, I wasn't going to let that thing eat you, plus, if anyone is going to kill you, it's going to be me, then I'll kill myself, cause we are dying together, that's what family is!" I shouted. Minho smiled. We continued to run the section for a while then stopped for a lunch break.
°After lunch break and work hour is over°
I waited for Minho at the edge of the wall. He came running out of the maze. Everyone was waiting for us. Minho smirked at me. I grinned. I wrapped the end of the rope around my hand. Newt was concerned and confused. I sat at the edge and put my feet flat on the side of the wall. I began running down the wall. Everyone's eyes, except Minho's, widened in fear. Halfway on the wall, I lifted my feet and used all my upper body strength to get myself upside down, like Spiderman. I was speeding towards the ground.
"Y/n!" Newt yelled. In mid-air, I let go of the rope and flipped in the air. I landed on my feet. Everyone, except Newt, cheered. Newt placed his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him. His eyes were filled with fear and relief. I guess I had brought back a bad memory. I smiled and hugged him. He stiffened and hugged me back.
"I'm okay, I promise" I said. He sighed and smiled. We pulled away and headed to the homestead, for dinner. Frypan gave me my food and I sat down at a table with Minho, Newt, Alby, Ben, and Chuck.
"So how was your first day?" Chuck asked me. I smiled.
"Tiring, and hectic" I said. Alby and Newt looked at me confused.
"Hectic? How?" Alby asked. I glanced at Minho and he looked concerned. He nodded and I sighed.
"Well, we ran into a griever" I said. Ben's eyes widened.
