Once Tom was inside the Muse See Um things weren't different from the past two visits there. The ceilings were high and littered with various wall hangings and historical monuments. Most things were against the walls besides the information desk right in the middle of the large area. Glass cases were also there that contained other and held more valuable items such as the long shot guns in front of where Tord had stood with Edd and Matt. Of course he has to be near the Red Army exhibit as always. Tom saw most of the things there as he figured that this would get boring faster as time began to move slower by the minute. There was no excitement for Tom to be here but he brushed that feeling aside.

Tom made it over to the others as he stood back and watched how Tord had marveled with wide eyes over what was before him. The cases had pins of past soldier's achievements and framed awards with browning edges but everything on them was still legible. However, Tom noticed that Tord looked at one thing in particular more than anything else, the large picture of the general and his family spread on the wall behind everything else. Tom had no clue why he looked at the single picture for so long but it made him wonder what was going on in Tord's head sometimes.

Edd spoke up first before Tom could get a word out, "Tord? Why do you always look at this picture while we're here? Doesn't it get old doing that for so long?"

"Nah, it never gets old for me. It's quite inspiring to me to say the least. I mean, after all it's a picture of my great grandfather."

"Whatever you say," Tom said as he rolled his eyes and quickly scanned the area around them.

Tom watched Tord as he turned to face him, he walked past and brushed shoulders with him. Tom clenched his fists for a few seconds before releasing the grip from his hands and repeated the process a few times. This was the best he could do to prevent himself from going off on Tord or on anyone else. That would look weird and not good for any of them. Tom had also considered the fact that other people were also in the Muse See Um around them. Having been lost in his thoughts he was broken out of them when Edd gasped loudly and wildly shook Tom's shoulders before he shouted in his face and pointed across the area.

"Oh my gosh! The future exhibit is finally open to the public! They've been working on that for so long! Come on guys! Let's go check it out!"

It didn't take long for Edd to skip a few paces away toward the exhibit. Tord was right behind him with Matt at the tail end. Tom sighed as he gazed to the information booth only to see a single security guard as his eyes and head trailed as he watched Edd sprint forward before he turned and locked eyes with Tom. Tom froze and ducked his head and sped walked over to the entrance of the Future Exhibit and looked at the opening for it. It looked like it was made of silver colored wooden frames built to look like skyscrapers. Bright lights also lined it as the neon sign above it flickered. The room beyond this entrance remained mostly dark outside of more lights that were strung together inside. However, he didn't stay there long as his body had moved into the room before he could think twice about it.

Inside, the lights appeared brighter than they did inside the main area of the Muse See Um. Little car shaped spaceships hung from the roof alongside models of planets in the mix. A complete solar system was there too with the constellations that glowed brighter than other stars, a work of art that pulled Tom in closer. What crossed Tom's mind was the thought down the road in time that space travel would be a thing and not just in the movies. On the other hand, he wondered if time travel would be possible in the first place, he let the thought slide after a few minutes of pondering. It sent a moment of unease throughout his body but he decided to ignore it.

Tom took another moment to study the roof before he looked down and to his left to see a life sized model of what appeared to be a flying car built into the wall as if it came straight out of a comic book. It was a dashing silver color as the lights on it faded from one to another. The sounds of a starting engine flared up as beeping of computers rang in his ears at the control panel on the wall next to the winged car, a do not touch sign was taped to it. This must be how people had viewed the future but it's not certain that this would be how it'd look. There unfortunately wasn't a way for anyone to figure out the future from where they stood.
