It's been almost a year now, and to be honest I'm a strong fighter as well, I'm agile and me and luffy are about equal in strength

I'm leaving tomorrow, so I asked luffy to spar with me one last time before I leave

He is standing at the other end of the training grounds, giving me a smile

"I'm gonna beat you y/n! Just like always!" He said excited

"Not today luffy! I will beat you" I get into a good stance

To be honest even though me and luffy are of equal strength, I am currently losing with how many wins i have, he has one more win, so If i win today it will be even

He pulls back his arm getting ready to shoot it at me

When the timer went off, he shot his arm at me, I dodge his quick attacks, almost getting hit

I ran over to him while dodging his attacks, and punch him in the face sending him flying back, he jumps back up and swings at me, I tried to dodge but he predicted that and kicked me

I jump back up and run at him again, successfully dodging his attacks again and landing a few hits, he managed to hit me a few times as well

This went on for awhile, of course, he never got tired out

I get close enough and tackle him to the ground, forcing him to give up

"Dang it!" He shouted

I laughed "got you luffy, that's another win for me, now we're tied" I smiled and released him

I walked over to our board of wins and put a mark on mine

"Just because you won today doesn't mean I wont get even in the future" he smiled

We laughed and talked for awhile, walking back to the tree house, we ate dinner and went to bed

Next morning I ate breakfast, packed my stuff and hung out with luffy, before headed to windmill village with luffy

I gave him a hug "hey I'm really glad you helped me, i really needed this" i gave him a smile

He smiled as well "yeah of course! I had so much fun!" He cheered   

"I'm gonna find ace ok? And I'll see you when you have your own big bad pirate crew" I ruffled his hair and pushed my boat off the dock

"I'll miss you y/n! And dont worry I'll have the coolest crew ever!" He waved me goodbye

"I'm sure you will! Good bye luffy!" I waved as well and turned to the horizon

I sat down in my boat, and pulled out the box ace gave me before he left

I carefully unwrapped it

When I opened it there was two pieces of paper one was a note and the other only had his name written on it

I opened the note

Dear y/n

I miss you, and I'm sure you miss me too, I hope you like the gift I gave you, its called a vivre card, they are made to use as a compass to the person its DNA was made from, and i used my DNA

If you hold it in your palm it will guide you too me

And if you are ever worried about my health, just look at it, if it isn't on fire then I'm doing alright, it will burn when I'm dieing.

I really miss you, and cant wait to see you again, I'll see you soon.

I pulled the vivre card out of the box, folded it into a smaller shape so I can put it in my pocket.

I looked forward and pulled out a map to start a course for the grand line

I will go alone if it means I can see him sooner

After a few months, I make it to a country in the grand line, I use the vivre card to find out what direction to go, and walked along the streets, the card was getting harder to hold, it kept going faster away towards wherever ace is

I spot a certain freckled face boy from far away, and run towards him

"Ace!!" I tackle him

He almost fell over "huh? Y/n? Is that you?" I back up and pull off my hood

I smiled "yeah it is! I've missed you so much ace" I hug him again

He freezes for a second, then bursts with joy "oh my God y/n!" He kissed my cheek

"How did you get out here?" He asked excited but confused

"The vivre card you gave me, and plenty of training with luffy" I smiled

"Wait you trained with luffy?" He asked

"Yeah I can fight now" I said excitedly

"Wow that's gre-" he was cut off "ace! Pops is looking for you!" A pineapple said

"Hold on Marco just a second" he yelled back

"What's so important? Pops needs you to go do someth- wow who is this pretty lady?" The pineapple asked

"Um hi" I waved

"My girlfriend" ace said rudely

"Ok ok, chill, I didn't know you could even attract a girl" the pineapple said sarcastically

"Damn it Marco I'm gonna kill you" ace said to him, an evil look on his face

"Um ace who is this?" I asked

Ace turned to me with a smile "this is marco, he is part of the white beard pirates like me" he said

"Oh nice to meet you marco, I'm y/n" I hold out a hand to shake

He smirks, and shakes my hand "I dont see how you could possibly like this sewer rat" marco pointed at ace

Ace tackled him "shut up you pineapple bird!" I laughed

Ace looked at me and smiled

After they fought, ace took me to meet his other crewmates, along with his captain

I will admit white beard was kinda scary looking, but was actually pretty nice

I was even invited to join the crew, I accepted, mostly because I wanted to be with ace
