San smiled, jumping over the wall and landing safely inside his school. He never thought he'd see the campus again. At least not this soon, but whatever. Closed gates couldn't even keep him away.
“He's going to be mad at you,” Yunho said, jumping down next to him. “Why?” San asked, jumping up the wall to help Jongho.
“You disappeared without saying anything,” Jongho said, San pulling him up. Jongho took Yunho’s hand, jumping down. San smiled, looking at Jongho. He wasn't a troublemaker like him, and Yunho were most of the time. But when it came to it, he didn't mind getting into a fight.
“I always do that,” San said, going quiet. “And every time he gets upset,” Jongho said, being the only one to look around. Getting caught sneaking into campus was another academic offense, and they'd get detention for it.
San jumped down to join them, throwing his backpack over his shoulder. “We better run, or we'll be late. Can't have Mr. Kim cry again,“ San said, excited. He didn't want to overthink things. Like what exactly was he supposed to say?
Yunho and Jongho shared a look, shaking their heads. “I still can't believe you brought him to tears,” Yunho said, following San. San couldn't hide his excitement even if he was trying.
“He was happy to see me,” San said, turning to look at the two. Hopefully someone else would be happy to see him.
“That's not what that was,” Yunho said, correcting San who didn't seem to care.

Wooyoung was now sitting in his next class, looking at Seonghwa who sat beside him. Seonghwa had managed to convince him to get back and sit through another lecture, Wooyoung mindlessly doodling on his paper.
He other had some very good points, and up until today Wooyoung hadn't even noticed they had the same class. “You don't have this class,” Wooyoung realized, knowing he knew everyone.
“I snuck in so you'd actually come,” Seonghwa whispered, Wooyoung nodding. That was smart. “How did you really get him to come to class?” Hongjoong whispered, Seonghwa looking at him. Their seating chart had changed a bit since Wooyoung was sitting next to Seonghwa, and Hongjoong was sitting next to him. Mingi and Yeosang had P.E at the time, but they were trying to get their schedule changed.
“I-” Seonghwa began, hearing the classroom door slide open violently. Definitely wasn't cause for alarm after Seonghwa saw three students walk in, interrupting Mr. Kim's lecture. Two of which he knew. “Hello everyone! I'm back,” San announced, looking around, smiling when he spotted Wooyoung.
The entire class cheered as the school crush walked inside, followed by the heartthrobs of the century Yunho and Jongho, who were happy to be back.Foe the sake of their grades at least.
Wooyoung's eyes lit up when he saw San, but the frown on his face remained, looking down at his paper. Seonghwa looking at him and then at San.
There was the reason Wooyoung was sad all day.
“San. Always one for making a grand entrance,” Mr. Kim said, San high-fiving him. “Sorry to interrupt,” San said, Mr. Kim looking at Yunho and Jongho. They were his more well-behaved kids. “Welcome back,” Mr. Kim said, Yunho and Jongho saluting him.
“How are you, Mr. Kim?” Jongho asked, staying to chat a bit while San took the stairs two at a time, not caring about anyone. “Hey,” San said, ruffling Wooyoung's hair. Wooyoung pushed his hand away gently, San’s smile falling.
Oh.
San slid into the seat in front of Wooyoung, ditching his backpack on the ground next to him before turning around to look at Wooyoung.
