peter and y/n were more alike than they thought. right now peter is venting to ned about be ghosted by y/n and y/n is venting to mj about ghosting peter. peter had tried many times to get y/n to speak to him but everytime y/n just simply walked away. as much as it was hurting for peter, it hurt that times two for y/n. "maybe you should just talk to him about your confusing feelings." mj said while she quickly inspected a gummy bear before lazily poping it into her mouth. y/n let out a huge sigh and got up from mj's bed. "i can't" she said while chewing on her nails while she tried to think. y/n chewing on her nails had been a habit from when she was little. it got better, she only chews when she is thinking really hard. "Ariana, come on! it's been long enough. i bet parker heart is broken. he is a sensitive boy. a cry baby if you will. he is probably begging ned to text you or something so that you guys can meet up." mj sassed. she took a small moment to put another gummy bear in her mouth before she started speaking again. " look kid, parker is a sweet kid. he is good one. you don't want to lose him. i can see it in your eyes how much you like peter. your breaking his heart, please for me and for sure for peter , just text him"mj told the younger girl.

y/n thought closely about before finally saying fuck it. mj smiled was up to her ears when y/n said she was finally going to text that poor boy. mj jumped up and grabbed y/n's phone. "what should i say?" y/n mumbled while finding peter context.

mj thought about it for a moment before shooting up and grabbing the phone. y/n begged and pleaded that the girl wouldn't embarrass her. mj started text and y/n was starting to rethink letting mj handle this. mj finished typing out her message and hit send before giving the phone back to y/n. "there you go ari!" mj laughed knowing that the younger girl won't like what she sent. y/n let out a dramatic sigh before reading the message out loud. "hey pete. i just want to say that i'm sorry for avoiding you. you didn't do anything wrong for that kind of treatment. i would love for you, ned, me and mj meet up at talk. think on it please?"

y/n just looked up from the phone and let out a harsh murmurs under her breathe about how stupid this was. y/n walked home that evening with hope in her heart that she and peter can be like how they use to be, but she was also scared that peter would forgive her. that he would flip the switch and ghost her. she felt like a asshole. she finally had real friends. friends that really cared about her wellbeing, than she had to go and do this. she had to mess everything up because of feelings. she heard a small ding coming from her phone. she looked at the home screen to see the words 'parker <3' sitting there. she had a small, but hopeful smile on her face. she opened the text to read "ok. my place 5:00". y/n let out a small yes and did a little dance. she quickly texted mj a screenshot and got a ' i told you so' kind of message back. y/n walked the rest of the way home with a little pep in her step.

y/n walked into the house and didn't bother to say hello to nat and steve, who were in the living room having a talk. y/n marched upstairs and into her room. she hopped in the shower. she got ready to see peter. she made sure she looked her best to see him. made sure her hair was perfect. not one strand out place. she walked out of her room to she tony. "hey dad me and mj are going to meet up with peter and ned is that ok?" y/n asked with a pleading look on her face. "of course. be safe. happy will drive you. call me if you need anything and be home before curf." y/n let out a little laugh at tony trying to be 'hip and cool'. y/n let out a little thank you can kissed tony on the head before skipping out of the door yelling love you. y/n was happy things may be fixed between y/n and peter. y/n really cared for him and their friendship and she would never want to lose that.
