3rd POV:
Patton and Roman had been acting kind of weird for the last few days since Remus came around. Roman had even come up to Logan and asked him if Remus had done something to him, but no matter how much he prodded, the only answer he got was no. Speaking of which, the green side hadn't shown up since that event. It wasn't like Logan had tried to reach out, and a Remus sighting was very rare already. Logan had missed him. Only a bit. Barley anything, it was just that they had talked and Logan hadn't talked to anyone in a while and... Maybe he should reach out.
It was breakfast time; six sides sat at the table this morning because the neutral sides had decided to join. Patton was happy to make eggs and bacon for everyone when Picani came down with Remi for coffee. They ate around the mind place, over the couch, and at the bar. Remi and Virgil were having a conversation, both with coffee in their hands; Roman and Picani were eating and talking to Patton from across the counter; Logan sat on the chair next to the two tired sides and quietly ate most of his food.
There was some food left over, which Logan said he would put away when he was done with the dishes. Most of everyone had dispersed and the few that stayed were watching TV faced away from the kitchen. With a plate in the blue sides' hands, he thought about Remus and Janus who had missed out on the morning meal. Did they eat? He had never seen them eat (other than Remus eating deodorant). Would they want some? He looked over at the leftover food, just enough for two more plates. No one is looking, no one would question. The plate in his hands was set down and he grabbed two dry ones.
Upstairs, Logan stood in front of Remus's door. His mind ran circles around him, attempting to convince himself to leave. He wanted to do this though, so he built the courage and knocked. He waited a moment and there was no answer. He knocked again, just a little louder, and he heard noises from the other side; a sigh left Logan's mouth in relief.
The door opened to a shirtless Remus... and oh shit....
"HereIbroughtthisforyouandJanusokbyeIgottogo!" Logan shouted out all in one and after shoving the plates into the shirtless man's arms, quickly walked away embarrassed.
Remus frowned but brought the plates into his room and closed the door behind him. That was weird, he thought, sitting on his bed which was covered in dirty clothes like a teenage boy's. He looked down at the two plates and realized one was probably for his slithery friend, so he dropped out of his room and raised into the snake room.
"Remussss!" The snake yelled. A shirt got thrown at him as Janus sat up from his bed. "What have I told you about coming into my room when shirtless-"
"Heheheh, thought you'd be used to it by now Double D," He laughed.
With a sign from Deceit, Remus came next to the bed and placed the plate on top of the covers. "Logie brought us a little something to eat!"
"Have you been talking to him? What have not I told you about that..." Remus noticed the frown on the other and took a piece of bacon to shove in his mouth. "It's just safe around the light sides. Between Roman and Patton, they both have already hurt you... and me." Janus picked up the plate and smiled softly though. "If you're going to talk to him, let it stay in one of your rooms," he said, looking up to see a wide smile on the intrusive side.
Logan, on the other hand, had run into the room next to Remus in an attempt to get away from the embarrassing situation. What he didn't realize was that he didn't enter his own room. A yelp came from behind him in the room and when he looked around, the room was Virgil's. Purple and black walls, popular rock bands and other posters hung on the walls, purple sheets on a bed, and on that bed was a surprised Virgil.
"Shit, don't just come unannounced like that!" He said, putting down the book he was reading.
"Sorry...I didn't know you read" Logan said, trying to change the topic and avoid having to tell him why he came in or what he was doing. Virgil, of course, saw through it and understood something was wrong. He could always feel the anxiety off of Thomas and any of the sides.
"I do, but that's not the point. Are you hiding from someone? Why are you so stressed?" He inquired.
Logan froze up a little more, trying to think of an excuse. His mind was blank... "Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Sorry, I just wonder sometimes." Virgil said, allowing for a more comfortable air to settle in his room. The logical one sighed in relief. He took a moment to think, think about Virgil and if he could tell him. He had been a dark side, even though he doesn't like talking about it infront of people, Logan knew that. Maybe because of that experience, him talking to the others wouldn't be seen as bad.
That could turn out stupid, Virgil could tell the others that he had been talking to the darks. Why was it such a bad thing to talk to them... Logan had no clue but didn't want to be outcasted from the lightsides, he always had to be careful in fear of them. Its just the way it was... There was a chance that Virgil could understand though, where he could ask about them and in turn learn more about them. Logan didn't know why but he wanted to get to know them. Why they were outcasted and feared or hated. What happened to make this so. Deciding he would ask took a minute, but he had his mind made up.
"Well, you see... I'd like to tell you, but you can't tell the others... Ok?" Logan whispered.
Virgil smiled.
