Chapter 4-Family Time

In the midst of the lively atmosphere, Rias and Issei found a moment to steal away to the kitchen, away from the prying eyes and ears of their friends and family. The soft glow of the kitchen lights enveloped them, creating a private haven within the bustling residence.

Issei, still wearing a content smile from the joyous reunion, turned to Rias and asked, "What's on your mind, Rias? You look a bit serious."

Rias, her expression more thoughtful, sighed before responding, "Issei, it's about Ryota. I can't help but worry about him. Being a human-devil-dragon hybrid, he's unique, and I fear that the supernatural world will inevitably seek him out."

Issei's brows furrowed in concern as he listened to Rias. "I get that, Rias, but we'll protect him. We have the Gremory family, the peerage, and Great Red. No one's going to harm our son."

Rias nodded, her worry still evident in her eyes. "It's not that simple, Issei. I trust the devils, but I don't trust the Old Devil Council. Those old fogeys are stuck in their archaic ways, and if they find out about Ryota's unique heritage, they might see it as an opportunity to exploit him."

Issei's expression darkened as he understood the gravity of Rias's concerns. "You're right, Rias. Those guys are all about power and control. I won't let them use Ryota for their own agenda."

Just then, a voice echoed in their minds, a familiar voice that made them both turn to Issei's Boosted Gear. "Rias is right, Issei. This is not a matter to be taken lightly. Ryota's dragon half is extremely potent, and there's a good chance he might develop Dragon's Aura."

Issei and Rias exchanged surprised glances. Ddraig, the mighty Dragon Emperor residing within the Boosted Gear, continued, "Dragon's Aura is not just some fancy energy. It's the literal manifestation of a dragon's essence, their ideology, and power. It's what allowed me to become the Dragon of Domination."

Rias's eyes widened in realization. "Dragon's Aura? That's legendary! Each dragon has their own specific aura, and it can evolve, granting dragons abilities beyond their normal capabilities."

Ddraig's ethereal presence within the Boosted Gear nodded, his tone serious. "Exactly. And given Ryota's unique heritage, he might be able to tap into Dragon's Aura, inheriting not only the strength of dragons but also their potential to evolve and dominate."

Issei scratched his head, his mind processing the significance of what Ddraig was revealing. "So, you're saying our son might possess a power that could surpass even ours?"

Ddraig chuckled, his presence emanating a mix of pride and amusement. "It's a possibility. Dragon's Aura is a force that transcends normal limitations. If Ryota can tap into it, he'll have the potential to become a force to be reckoned with."
