Loki's point of view:

The next morning I awoke with my head resting against Mobius' chest ; he was still asleep but his eyes were fluttering between open and closed. However, a loud assertive knock coming from downstairs woke him up.

He gasped as he woke and took a minute to look around, noticing me. His eyes widened, "Wow!" He exclaimed, slightly in panic, "I should probably go get the door." He jumped out of bed and shuffled out the room.

Still half asleep, I glanced around the room squinting my eyes. Placing my feet on the soft crème carpet I rubbed my eyes and lifted myself off the bed ; following Mobius' footsteps downstairs.

I ran a hand through my hair and 'straightened' my shirt (which was so creased I'm not even sure ironing could save it) and was met with Mobius talking to Tom at the front door. Tom lifted his chin to take a look at me and then said, "Good timing." He remarked. "We have a catering job on Saturday, that will be your interview. If you do well and what I say you will get the job." He smiled.

I nodded, "Thank you." I remarked gratefully and with a small smile.

Mobius grinned as well, "Thank you Tom." He said beginning to close the door, "I'll see you soon." He smiled superficially.

Tom's expression grew worried, "Don't forget what I told you Mobius." He said accepting the closing door.

Mobius nodded and then hummed, "Mhm mhm, yeah. See you round Tom." And slammed the door shut.

"What was all that about?" I chucked, making my way over to him so close that if I stepped a millimetre forward I would of been breathing down his neck. Truth be told, I knew exactly what this was about.

Swiftly, he turned around and looked at me, "Oh. Nothing." He dismissed it walking over to his sofa. "Are you excited for the job interview." He changed the subject rapidly.

I nodded, following him accepting that he didn't want to talk about this, "Yeah. But why is a small diner doing a catering event? I thought they were desperate." I asked sitting down beside him.

"They are." He laughed, "But it's quite a small town. The other restaurant has been investigated multiple times for fraud and rats." He told me with intrigue.

"Fraud? Rats? I thought this was a small town, it's quite eventful." I remarked.

"Yeah..." he looked down and his eyes lit up at the sight of something on my wrist. "What's that?" He shifted his gaze, looking up at me and then back down to my wrist.

At first, I quirked up an eyebrow ; what could he possibly be on about? Then when I'm lifted my wrist I realised... my watch. My watch was no ordinary watch, it was how me and my team communicated (anywhere in time and space). There were seven different arms and no numbers. "Oh. That's my watch."

"A watch? Where did you get that from?" He laughed at the pure obscurity of a time travellers watch.

"Well, I am a time traveler." I said. I slipped the watch off my wrist and checked the under side of it and sighed, "Just as I thought, out of batteries. You don't happen to have any watch batteries do you?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact I do!" He jumped up and rushed over to the kitchen ; pulling open a draw that rattled and then pulling a packet out of it. When he came back in the room he handed it to me, "Here you go." He tossed me the packet.

I quickly pulled a battery out and slotted it into the watch, I watched as the arms went crazy spinning round in circles indicating how many missed communications I had. "One second. I probably have to answer these." I rushed upstairs into Mobius' room with no further explanation

I quickly dialled the Controller's call and she answered quite quickly. "Good to see you Loki, after three days." She remarked, her warm smile fading into something far more sinister and bitter.

I licked my teeth trying to avoid saying anything that would get me into lots of trouble, "Controller!" I exclaimed in a fake thrilled voice, "So good to see you, how are you? You look divine."

She crossed her arms, "Flattery will get you nowhere... Agent Loki." Oh we've reverted back to Agent now have we? "Where have you been? No communications for the past three days, we all feared you had gone rouge."

Rouge? As if I would ever go rouge. We all knew what they did to the rouges.

"Rouge! Now way. My traveller crashed and now I am in the sixties. I am trying to repair it but it takes some time. I hope you can be patient with me." I said defending my cause.

"I understand." Her face was unamused, "Where are you? Where are you staying? Why are there Photo-frames?" She asked her head peeking behind me.

I followed her gaze and looked at the photo on the bedside table which had a black and white photo of Mobius in an army uniform. He served? "Oh." I said picking it up and staring at it more intently, "This is who I'm staying with." I held the picture up to the watch, "This is Mobius. He's so sweet and so kind and he is letting me-"

"Shush." She said abruptly, "This is all for now. Just remember to not get attatched, we need you out of there as soon as possible and you know you can't go back to that timeline." She warned me.

"I know." My voice filled with solemn, the thought of loosing Mobius was deeply upsetting ; even though I had only known him for a short while.

"Good." She nodded. "Get back to us as soon as you can." She said and the communication ended.

I heard a shuffle outside the door and I quickly rushed to it to investigate, I was met with Mobius' guilty face as he but his lip. I froze. "We're you listening in to my communication." I tilted my head.

His face scrunched up, "I did. I know I know it was wrong, but you seemed so upset and I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I didn't mean to be nosey, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He rushed through his words.

My gaze softened and I practically melted. He always meant everything with such good intentions, "No its... fine. Just don't do that again." I warned him.

"Noted." He nodded.

My thoughts of losing him overtook me and before I could control what my body was doing I pulled him into a hug. At first he was stiff but then he relaxed into it and hugged me back. This was the happiest I had felt in years.
