Loki's point of view:

Saturday rolled around awfully quickly and now here I was, standing in front of Mobius' bed, trying to fix my suit. "I told you getting this suit was a good idea." Mobius smirked.

I rolled my eyes and I attempted to tie a bow tie, my frustration growing immensely, I turned to face the mirror "Yeah yeah, your always right, I know." I frowned as the tie just got tangled up. Frantically, I unraveled it and balled it up in my fists.

I saw Mobius quirk up an eyebrow in the mirror, "Need some help?" He asked and rest his hands on his knees.

Begrudgingly, I sighed and nodded, "Clearly."

With care, Mobius pushed himself off the bed and looped his way round to me. Gently, he took my hand - that I hadn't realised was still in a fist - and opened it to take the tie.

He lifted my collar briefly touching my neck reviving a quiet gasp as he did so. He wrapped the bow tie around my neck and began tying it. While he looked into my eyes, not even focusing on the tie, he spoke about something. However I was too lost in the look of his lips to notice or even care.

"Loki?" He asked taking a step back. "Are you even listening?" He folded his arms.

"Yes." I nodded. "No I wasn't." I responded.

He sighed, "I said ; I'll be at the event tonight so don't worry about getting there."

"Yeah, I kind of guessed." I gestured at his smart tweed suit that he was wearing and (somehow) pulling off.

"And all you will be doing is serving and making drinks so no food to worry about." He informed me. "That alright?" He cocked his head to the side.

Still in a haze I nodded, "Yeah." I began walking with Mobius out his bedroom door when he suddenly stopped.

"And one last thing," he leaned into me, "be nice to people."

Time skip brought to you by my absence 😬 sorry.

When we arrived I was whisked away by Adam and given an apron and he told me everything I needed to know. "Okay : a root beer, champaign and white wine  for table nine." He said, "Lets see if you can accomplish that." His rude tone clearly showed me about how happy he was to have me here.

"Okay." I nodded. Grabbing a root beer out the fridge. I then proceeded to pour white wine and champaign into two different glasses, putting all drinks onto a tray and leaving the counter.

I swayed through the endless tables and looked around trying to stop at table nine. And when I did a warm smile grew on my face, Mobius. I wizzed over and placed the tray down on the white table cloth. "Root beer for you sir," I almost cackled as I handed it to Mobius, "Wine for you mam and a champaign for you." I attempted a smile.

One of the ladies was wearing a navy blue dress with beautiful pearls draped around her neck, she rested a hand on her collar bone in flattery, "Such lovely manners! Much better than the old miserable sod over there." He cocked her head into the direction of Tom.

I didn't want to laugh as he was hopefully my future employer but I let out a chuckle.

"Well thats Loki for ya, full of manners." Mobius raised his head to look up at me with a smirk. I gave him a sarcastic nods back.

The other lady in a deep maroon dress exclaimed, "Oh you two know each other?" She smiled, "Oh how lovely."

"Yes. Lovely." I nodded quickly trying to find anything to get away, "Well I really must get back to work." I forced out.

"Of course he does." The lady with the pearls remarked beginning to laugh, "He's a working man you know Donna." She joked to her friend.

BeforeI could hear anymore I quickly rushed away back to the bar. My cheeks were glowing red but from what exactly : the women, my job, Mobius?

The rest of the night went well, I never spilt and drink and didn't knock into a single person. To be honest, I never actually figured out what the event was, it was large scale, perhaps an anniversary?

When I was clearing some of the tables Tom approached me, "Thanks for your help tonight Loki." He nodded. "It was very useful having someone on bar while I cooked. It's madness otherwise." He joked however his expression stayed stern.

I nodded, "No problem sir." Sir?!

"That's why I have decided to hire you. The dinner could really use some more hands. You start on Wednesday, nine am." He said patting me on the shoulder.

I smiled, "Thank you." And he left.

The event had emptied out now and only me, Mobius, Tom and a few others remained. "So?" Mobius asked as he rushed over.

"I got the job!" I exclaimed.

He smiled back at me, "Well done!"

Time skip brought to you by that 'I got the job' advert.

When we burst through Mobius' doors we were both smiling gleefully, something I hadn't done for a long time. I hung my coat up on the rack as Mobius did. "So... those ladies were all over you tonight weren't they?" I joked rolling back a bit.

Mobius froze, his coat still in his hand as he turn to face me, "It's not like that." He frowned, "It would never be like that."

"Why? Are they married?" I laughed, "They didn't seem all that married to me." I joked.

"No it's not-"

"And even if they were," I interrupted, "they're classy ladies, your smart." I shrugged.

"No Loki." His frown deepened, "It's not like that."

I walked forward a bit, getting closer to the kitchen wall. "Sure..." I rolled my eyes.

His face dropped, "No, Loki its- ah fuck it." He walked quickly over to me and the proceeded to push my back against the wall. He took my face in his hands and the brought it close to his, crashing his lips against mine.

It started off aggressive and fast paced bust quickly slowed down to gentle kisses. Relaxing slightly, I brought my hands up to hold his hair. He kept gently kissing me and I did the exact same. I breathed him in, everything about him.

We had done this before, but this time was much more true.
