"It's hard to miss someone, you've never met." I tilt my head. His words were just a clarification to my thoughts. But who am I to not play a little game of hard-to-get? Besides, I don't exactly remember where I know him from and I like to hear it from him.

He laughs in return. "I guess that's true,"

He stays silent for another few seconds before he slowly starts approaching me. At the same time, I start backing away. I knew that he knew the balcony was only a few inches away from me. His men even moved to readress their weapons but he dismissed them. Eventually, he stopped and so did I.

He took me in for another second before he started speaking again. "Is this fate bringing us together?" he whispers.

I don't know where that came from, or what he meant. And for the first time tonight, I started feeling the emotions crawling their way inside my body. A gulp of nervosity slid down my throat.

"Perhaps," I whisper back. His lips curve into a tiny smile before he nods. "You know the exit is only a few inches away from you." he continues. "I noticed," I reply.

"Then why aren't you leaving?" He asks. "Maybe I prefer to spend some quality time with you guys," I reply. "I doubt it," he hints. "You don't know me," I declare.

Suddenly he chuckles. "I know more of you than you'd think,"

"B- LA" All of a sudden sound starts coming from my earpiece again. "BE- BELL-A?" Antonio's concerned voice stumbles through my ear. I clench my jaw as I remember where I was. My parents, Antonio, they must be very worried. I suddenly remember the chip that's hidden behind my sock.

I need to get out of here.

I slowly walk back, towards the balcony. "You leaving so soon?" he asks, not moving an inch.

"Look, it was nice meeting you and all but I got better things on my head than wasting my time on you," I tell him.

"TR- RA- OUT" Antonio's voice starts rambling again. I don't know what's up with the connection, because his words don't come out straight.

"Well that's too bad because I'm not done with you yet," he answers and before I know it he nods for his men to come at me.

Oh, here we go again.

I can hear gunshots fill the room and men start running my way. I swiftly avoided all of the bullets since the guns were only subcompact pistols. They knew better not to bring rifles to a place like this one, where one hit would cause the building to collapse.

In no matter of time, all the men were dead. Looking at the dead men who were lying out in front of me, I wipe blood off the cut on my cheek.

"Impressive," the same husky voice from earlier spoke up. When I look upward, his eyes lock onto mine. From the moment he commanded his men to jump on me, he didn't budge at all. He remained completely still, this whole time. And even though he just called my actions impressive he didn't sound like he meant any of it.

Suspicion crawled inside me as I looked around. Certainly, he thought I would end his men, comparing my gun with theirs. He might as well just ask for it.

Despite just losing 7-ish men he still looks satisfied. Suddenly Antonio's voice came back into the earpiece and for the first time in a long time, his words were finally clear.

"TRAP," and before I could even react, hands covered my mouth from behind, and something that felt like a needle, punched through my skin. An abnormal pain raced through my body but before I even got time to notice what was happening my eyelids closed and my thoughts disappeared.
