The core is how everything originated
The root to all of what's to come
The root appears, a man asks for his last time,
"Should I pour some water on it again?"

The man knew the consequences
The voices got to him
(But it's fun, It's normal!)
(Just once, it won't hurt!)

The unsuspecting victim waters the root
Little did he know a blight corrupted him
"It's normal!

Trapped in delusions
Warped in time
Wrapped in addiction

Endless cycles
Never ending ~~misery~~ FUN!
Memories in constant cycles
Never ending suns of light!

He's become a pawn
To the very thing he swore he wouldn't be
It doesn't end at dawn
It ends when he helps himself, see?

A root can become a blight, which could corrupt

Don't be a pawn, reflect on your consequences
