Almost too late(Cody)

Y/N's p.o.v.


"Y/N, you are being sent on a secret mission with Anakin and Kix.
"Yes, master." You said to Obi wan, your former master.
"I want you to take Cody with you too. I will be able to handle a battle without him." He laughed, but still caring about your safety even though you were not his Padawan anymore.
"Will Anakin's captain be there?" You asked casually not wanting to draw any suspicions.
"No, he is being sent on a mission with Ahsoka Oh by the way, your shuttle leaves in 10 minutes." Obi wan warned and you walked off to get ready. You always traveled light and since this was a stealth mission you figured you did not need many things. As you clipped your sabers to your belt Cody knocked on your door.
"The shuttle is ready to go if you are." He reported
"Thank you Cody!" You said rushing out.
As you walked into the hanger you noticed captain Rex standing by your shuttle.
"Hey," he said walking over to you. "You uhh Be safe, ok?" He said awkwardly looking as he if he wanted to say more.
"Don't worry! I have Kix, Cody and General Skywalker with me if I get into any trouble." You laughed and walked on to the shuttle.


A few hours later in hyperspace you walked over to Cody as he looked over some data about the planet you were going to.
"Hey Ad'ika," he called to you playfully by your nickname "I found some interesting stuff about this planet" he said
"Cool, what kinda stuff?" You said, looking over his shoulder to get a better look at the datapad
"Well there are a lot of caves and rockslides and the natives are very primitive. They don't even speak basic!" He exclaimed
"Ok... anything interesting? You asked again as the things he told you were alright but you wanted to hear something more exiting.
"Well there are these creatures called Diamond killers and they are very dangerous, they have poisonous fangs and if you get bitten you die within the hour if you don't get proper medical treatment." He said
"Cool, we'll have to be careful about those things when we land" you said as Anakin's voice rose loud in the shuttle
"Landing process started please strap yourselves in" he said.


Landing on the moon you walked out and took in your surroundings
"This looks nice!" you said
"Now let's find that plant and get out of here!" Cody said behind you "this place is giving me the creeps"
"Don't worry." Anakin called back as your little group started forward "it's not that bad!"
We had been walking for hours when we heard a strange sound.
"What was that?"Kix said warily as Cody and Anakin went to check it out
"Seems like it was in this cave but I-" Anakin was cut off with a rockslide coming down the mountain side we were standing under. 
"Quick! Get in the cave!" Cody shouted pulling you and Kix inside just as the rocks tumbled down right where we were standing blocking the opening and trapping you all inside. 
"Why did you pull us inside instead of running outside, Cody. I think-" an explosion rocked everything in the cave as you started to speak.  
"Cody... you said there weren't any inhabitants that would keep us away." Anakin said slowly.
"there isn't...my guess is that what caused that explosion was..." he stopped, trailing his sentence.
"I see...that was the ship wasn't it? Anakin asked knowingly.
"Yes, it was..." Cody replied looking sheepishly inside his helmet "I must have forgotten to close the ramp and the rocks must have rolled in crashing into everything, I'm sorry sir." He said quietly
"It's Ok Cody, I'll contact Obi Wan to come pick us up."



After a couple hours of waiting and trying to break through the rocks you decided to look around the back of the cave.
"Hey there little guy!" You said finding a small snakelike creature with fuzzy shimmering white hair, as you got closer, another earthquake made the cave shudder frightening the little creature making it bite your leg where you already had a bruise.
"Ouch!" You yelped in surprise as it bit you. "Cody!" You cried as you started to collapse. You fell into his arms and he shot the little creature when he saw that it had bitten you. He looked twice before a look of sick realization came over him.
"General...lets have Kix look at that bite hmm?" He said rushing you over to Kix.
"I'm fine really! Just let me rest." You argued as Cody practically half dragged half carried you over to where Kix was waiting.


After several minutes Kix looked away sadly and went to talk with Cody and Anakin. You did not know what had happened or what was so serious about a little sweet creature biting you. You tried to stand but fell weakly on your knees as Cody saw and rushed over to pick you back up
"Thanks vod." You said before shivering.
"What's wrong Y/N?" Cody said before looking to Kix worriedly. He nodded sadly as Cody sat you down on a mat Anakin had spread out.
"Sis," he said taking your hand into his "I need to tell you something."
"Go on.." you said slowly and you know there was something terrible happening but you couldn't quite be sure.
"You were bitten by a-a-a Diamond killer."Cody stated softly.
You gasped in shock and started to cry "will I die?" You asked and let Cody lay you down on a pillow.
"No!" He said firmly "you're not gonna die! General Kenobi will rescue us you'll see." He said but looked more worried every passing second.


An hour later Cody could see the life draining from you and rushed over.
"Ad'ika! You ok?" He asked worriedly
"Yes" you choked out the words hard to get out. It was beginning to get harder to breathe and you were sure there was not much time left for you. after a little under an hour you called Cody 
"Cody!" You said weakly 
"Yeah?" He rushed over taking your hand.
"I want you to do something for me"
"Ok." He responded but began to look more and more worried
"Listen, tell all of the 501st and the 212th that they were the best battalions to work with-"
"No, no, no!" Cody interrupted me. "You can tell them yourself." Cody said tears forming in his eyes
"Tell them Cody!" You said. After a moment he consented "tell Jessie and Dogma they are great leaders, and Fives and Hardcase always cheered me up, Kix was always so kind to me, tell Tup he is so kind and sweet, tell Waxer and Boil that they were good friends and-" you stopped again to catch your breath and Cody now holding you in his arms like a small child had tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Your not gonna die y/n I won't let it happen" you looked at him sadly and continued with your list.
"Tell Ashoka and Anakin that they were the best friends I ever had!" You gasped growing more desperate to fit everyone in. By now you were barely breathing and you were just holding onto your life force and Kix and Anakin had given you some space.
"Tell them Cody!" You said desperately and he nodded looking as if he had seen all his brothers die right in front of him.
"Tell my master," you said next "that he was the best teacher and that I love him so much he was like a father to me! Cody,"
"Yes?" He said giving you time to speak
"You were always like the big brother I never had you were always there for me...I'm sorry I can't do the same for you. and tell Rex..... That, that i love him." You said before blacking out.


You woke up in a med bay where Kix was happily checking you out.
"I see your awake! I'll go get Cody and Rex." He said smirking and left the room, soon Cody and Rex rushed in followed by Obi Wan.
"Y/N! they shouted at the same time. 
"You scared us!" Cody said his voice shaking a bit. "Don't ever do that again!" Rex added 
"How are you feeling Y/N?" Obi Wan said calmly
"Much better." You said, the first thing you had said since talking in the cave "how long was i out?"
"Three days." Kix answered you.
"Thanks for saving me master." You said. As they walked out of the room you pulled down Cody's arm,  

"Did you tell them what i said in the cave?" you asked nervously. 

"No, i'll keep your secret little sis, I'll keep your secret." he said before walking out of the room to let you rest.

Here is my first chapter!!!! i hope you liked it!!! i am gonna need some idea's so please comment what you would like to see! i will not be writing smut because i don't really feel comfortable, but any other sugestions would be welcome!
