Chapter 3,
Becoming Luna
Kody's POV

I walked with her to the pack house, of course the only thing on my mind was making her mine.

I wasn't going to lose her no matter what...but why...why do I care so much for her?...I feel like I should protect her and love her...I've never felt this way before about any girl...could it be that she isn't human?...no don't be silly! She smells like a human...

I turned to her as we....no....I looked at her out of the corner of my eye as we spoke to my father.

Damn...she just found out I'm a playboy...I thought to myself as I looked at the surprise on her face.

She's our mate! Our mate! Try not to chase her off like the rest....I really care for her...my wolf whined inside my head and I let out a sigh causing both my father and Sofie to look at me.

I let out a smile as I tuned my wolf out of my thoughts which usually pissed him off a lot. "Hey Sofie, would you do me the honor of becoming my---" I was interrupted suddenly by my father.

"Hang on just a minute...you don't know this girls back ground or history...you just want her as Luna for her beauty and because she saved you...." My father paused before continuing.

"This is an order....from your alpha...you must learn about this girl and where she came from...and finally truly fall in love..." He commanded and I made eye contact for a second before looking away.

Even if you were the alpha's son, you can't make eye contact with the alpha....not ever...it's forbidden..

Shock came over me, I had to follow the alpha's order...but fall in love?...talk about impossible for me... I smiled at Sofie and looked at her expression. Just by looking I could tell she was flustered.

"Hey don't worry, you'll make a great Luna....you just need to be trained.." I said quietly but in my head and heart I was thinking much darker thoughts. I wanted to mark her as mine and change her into a werewolf.

But what if she was afraid to change into a werewolf?...we can't have a human as Luna....its against the rules and law of the pack....

Sofie's POV

I looked at Kody then his father, the alpha of this so called pack just gave his son an order. Maybe there's hope for me yet!

I nodded and bowed to them which caused them to look at me strangely. "Oh I apologize! Japanese culture!" I blurted out nervously. Usually a mermaid bows before another to show thanks...that was close...thank you Japanese!

Kody grabbed me by the arm and was leading me out of the room, I let out a gasp of surprise when he did that.

I looked at him as he left me in the hall with some other girls. He seemed pissed off...and I looked at the other girls as one grabbed me. They seemed to be she wolves and they took me into a room.

"Don't worry! We are going to make you beautiful!! Come with us!!" One said and sat me down in a chair.....
