Chapter 2,
The Pack House,
Sofie's POV

I walked with Kody as the sun started to set. That was really close....good thing it's only a rumor or a myth mermaids can walk on land to werewolves.

He would have killed me back there if he knew I was a mermaid.

We finally arrived at his house, strangers were there...I guess they were all werewolves in this pack. Most of them were females and they gave me glares and I quickly looked away.

Kody was silent and he kept his hands in his pockets. He had this smirk on his face like he was thinking of something sinister or something dirty....I couldn't tell...

I was very careful, I really liked this guy but I was also scared of him.....it was scary being the only mermaid here....we mermaids have the ability to make our scent appear human.

We entered the pack house, instead of letting ladies go first kody just walked in before me and the door slammed behind me and shoved me forward.

Wow what a gentlemen.....so rude...I thought to myself and he was already walking up the stairs beckoning me to follow.

I quickly followed him and he opened a door where a middle aged man sat at a desk.

"What's this?....another play toy for you kody?...." He asked with no surprise in his voice.

Play toy?.......you mean kody is a playboy with females?.....was he going to use me like the rest?....I can't let it happen!!

My heart ached at the thought as I remained silent.

"No father, I intend to make her my Luna..." Kody responded clearly and my eyes went wide in surprise.

His father's eyes were wide as well, apparently this Luna was a big position?....maybe it meant mate?

"Are you sure? I've never seen you like this before what makes you want her so badly?..." His father asked him.

I looked over at kody with a confuzzled look...oh I forgot to tell you....we mermaids use the word confuzzled instead of confused. It's one way to recognize that we aren't human.

"I want her not because of her beauty, but because she found me and saved me on the beach...." Kody said now making eye contact with me.

No!...I did save him but I said I found him!!! My hearts racing.....does he know what I am??......

Sorry it's short, I left out kody's part cause I'll do him in the next chapter when I get the time. I'm really busy at the moment trying to help out my friends any way I can in creating a game.
