Alright, let's do this one last time.
I've been waiting to write this for five, no, six years. In case you missed it in the description, the cover is made by yours truly, also go back and look at the trigger warnings if you didn't see them the first time around. This fic is dark. There is death and betrayal and some crazy shit. Maybe not as crazy as the last one but this one's kind of heavy.
I promised myself I wouldn't get all sentimental again just to spare you the melodramatic horsecrap. As a bit of comedic relief, I posted a Christmas special featuring Clayton (Scrooge) as well as the other GLR/DoH characters.
I understand that this series isn't famous and that Dukes of Hazzard hasn't been relevant for quite some time, but I'm proud of the time that I spent on this series and I love every new read that comes my way.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this fic. I actually typed this up before I had both the first chapter and the Christmas special done, I just waited to post it after the fact. But since this is my last GLR fic on Wattpad, I just wanted to thank all of you guys again for sticking by me throughout the years. I know I've said it a lot but it's the truth, I really do appreciate y'all.

EDIT: The characters Jason "Jay" Howell and Detective Donald "Donny" Tollefson are based on real people who have given their consent to be included in this story. Their actions and behavior are parallel to how they act/talk in real life. I must put a trigger warning for Jay as the man is very out of pocket and has a tendency to say some very odd things.
Also: VERY IMPORTANT!! -> S/A is only ever implied and is NOT graphic. This story is about the recovery and growth of multiple characters. I know that this series has contained a lot of otherwise traumatic events but this is one thing that I would not be comfortable portraying in graphic detail and I believe that many readers would agree as well.
Just mind the trigger warnings please! :3
