Faint red scars laced Rami's wrists as an almost unnoticeable smile appeared on her face. She was proud of what she did. She was one step closer to being with her parents again.
Come on Rami..... Do it. Make everyone happy.
The girl shook her head furiously, pulling up her sleeve to cover the scars. Her friend, Teegan, knocked on the door.
"Rami? Everything okay in there?" She said loudly while giving the locked silver knob a quick jiggle.
"Y-Yeah! I'm just getting dressed for school" Rami quickly replied, mentally high-fiving herself for the save.
"Okay, but if you aren't out in 5 minutes I'm getting the keys..." Teegan said before walking away. Rami sighed in relief, her dull brown eyes landing on her old rusty razor blade.
'I have to get rid of that one day' She mentally noted. Rami strolled over to her closet and pulled out a plain grey shirt, along with a pair of baggy jeans. She changed out of her pyjamas, her ribs being extremely noticeable and she continues to starve herself. The red head began to put on the new set of clothes and looked in the full body mirror that was on the wall. Lifeless red hair stuck all over the place and a pale face accompanied it. Her dull eyes had visible dark circles around them and freckles scattered across her cheeks and nose.
Her body was slim and boney, almost no meat on them. All Rami's clothes were always slightly loose, and Rami got her clothes in size 1.
A knock on the door snapped Rami's attention away from the door.
"Rami! Are you nearly ready?" Teegan asked.
"Just need to brush my hair!" Rami replied.
"Well you better be quick! My mom's about to leave without us!" Teegan said, unlocking the door and walking in.
"I'll be there in a minute. I have to deal with this beast" Rami stated, gesturing to her hair. Teegan smiled and walked out the room.
'This is going to be a long day'
