Chapter 6

Rami stared at the screen, disbelief and confusion washed over her face.

"What?" She whispered, her voiced laced with slight fear.

"I said it's okay"

The red head dropped the Gameboy onto the ground before crawling up on her bed and staring at the device in front of her.

"Please don't be scared"

Rami was beyond confused.

"Wait... Can you see me?" She questioned.

"Yes"

Rami shivered and crawled further away from the Gameboy.

"D-Don't leave me"

Rami yelped when she heard a voice behind her. She spun her head around to face the owner of the noise, only to face a blank wall.

'What-Who was that?' She asked herself. The voice was soft and sad. It was a male...

Rami saw a shadow form in front of her. When she looked up, pixels were gathering together, slowly building up a shape, building up a person. She crawled off her bed and quietly crept towards the door, but heard an inhuman noise. She turned her head towards it and saw a familiar sight.

It was a celebi, only it was pink and cut in half. The flesh of the celebi was replaced with a black substance, oozing out of its wounds.

The pixels stopped moving and left a boy standing in Rami's room, but Rami thought it was no where near human.

His skin was a living corpse grey, his clothes were ripped up and dirty. He shared a close resemblance to what the sprite looked like at one stage, except.... He had his arms.

The boy looked up, eyes closed. Rami let out a shaky breath. Her hand was shaking as she reached for the door knob.

"S-Stop"

Rami froze, finger tips only just grazing the door knob. She looked back at the figure, realising that his eyes were now open. The whites of his eyes were black and small red dots stared directly at Rami.

You're going to die Rami...

I hope it's slow and painful...

Goodbye forever Rami...

Are you scared Rami?

ARE YOU SCARED!?!

Rami's knee buckled up and gave out on her, sending her crashing down to the hard wooden floor. She gripped her head and curled into a ball against the wall. She was scared.

Something wet trickled down Rami's face. She didn't bother to see what it was, deciding to let them flow freely.

See that blade over there? Use it...

Do it before he does...

Rami winced, closing her eyes and losing control of her hands. She started whacking herself on the head, holding back a scream.

The boy stared at the girl, absolutely no clue of what he was witnessing.

KILL YOURSELF, FREAK!!

Rami couldn't hold it back anymore. A loud scream erupted out of Rami's mouth, alerting the people in the house that she was losing it.

Teegan and her mother burst through the door.

"Mom! Get the pills!" Teegan ordered. Her mother left to get Rami's pills.

"She's having another episode..." She whispered to herself. Teegan bent down in front of Rami.

"Rami, it's okay. Don't listen to them" she re-assured, extending and arm out to stroke Rami's hair.

Rami lifted up a shaky hand, pointing at the boy who stood not too far away from her. Teegan looked at where Rami was pointing, but wasn't able to see what Rami saw.

"Nothing's there, Rami. Nobody can hurt you..." Teegan whispered.

The boy heard everything that was going on, only just realising that Rami was dealing with something major. He stood towards the shaking girl. Rami saw him move closer, causing her to frantically scurry further into the wall.

Teegan's mother entered the room, holding a small box containing Rami's medication. Teegan snatched it off her and quickly pulled out two pills. She shoved them into Rami's mouth and made her swallow.

Slowly, Rami's eyelids became heavy. She gave the boy one last glance before falling into a nightmare filled slumber.
