"Han-ah,breakkkk!!"
*Screeechhhhhhhh*
"Hyung, you okay??" Han looked at Minho with wide concerned eyes.
"Y-yes. Don't worry!! Let's do it again."
"Um no. I don't think I can do it. I'll just get myself a driver."
"We talked about it, Han-ah. You need to learn driving. We don't know when you might need it."
"Hyung, at the rate I'm going with, I'm gonna get both of us killed. It's better if I don't drive."
"Hannie!!"
"No!" Han unlocked his seat belt swiftly detaching it from his body.
Opening the door, he stretched his leg out to get off the car when Minho tugged on his wrist.
"I'll show you what's in that garage if you learn it."
Han looked at Minho who had his eyes closed facing the dashboard of the car.
"What??? Really??"
*Two days ago*
It was Sunday. Han was sunbathing in the backyard which felt so good on his honey skin against the cool January wind. In a while, the sun's warmth got overwhelming for him and he felt like walking around. He enjoyed his li'l walk until he lost the track and got lost. Though it had been quite a few months living in this house, he never explored much out in the backyard so getting lost was rather expected. Trying to figure out his way back to the house, he ended up near a grey structure which looked like a garage considering the rusty shutter door.
"Woah!! This looks so -"
*Babyyyyy, Naegaseumeul meomchul su, oh, crazy
Neomu yeppeo gyeondil su, oh, crazy
Neo animyeon pillyo eopda, crazy
Na wae irae*Han didn't pick up the phone until the chorus of his favourite song which he has put as his ringtone finished.
"Hello, Minho hyung?"
"Where are you, ba- Hannie? The food is getting cold."
"Oh yeah. I'm coming. Wait, no- Actually, I'm lost."
"What? Where are you?" Han could immediately hear the worry surging in Minho's body through the phone.
"Don't panic hyungie. I'm at home itself. Just lost in the backyard. Um- there's a garage here. I don't know how to get b-"
"What are you doing there? You know what? Just stand there. Don't do anything. I'm coming there."
Han ignored the hint of coldness he felt in Minho's last three sentences assuming he was worried about the younger.
In a few minutes, he saw a breathless Minho running towards him. Minho glanced at the closed shutter door for once and grasped Han's hands pulling him towards the house.
Reaching the vestibule, the younger's curious self cheerfully asked Minho," Hyung, what's in that garage?"
"That's none of your business. Don't ever go there."
Han's expression faltered.
"Oh. I didn't - I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." Han laughed it off awkwardly. "Never mind. Let's eat. The food is getting cold. Isn't it? Let's see what did you make."
Minho could read the younger like an open book. Right now, Han was blabbering about random things filling in the awful silence at the dining table while looking at anything except Minho. He was scratching his index finger with his thumb continuously. He even forgot to get an extra serving of his treasured Japchae cooked by Minho today. Usually a slow-eater, Han finish his lunch rather quick saying that he was planning to finish a painting he was working on.
Before Minho could mop about the situation, Han returned back at the dining table.
"Ummm hyung. What time did you say you were leaving to meet your friends?"
"Around Four-ish"
"Ok. Tell me before you leave......and don't beat yourself up, okay. I didn't mind."
'God, this boy is just too sweet for his own good.'
"You should mind, Hannie. Next time, if I talk to you like that, just punch me in the guts."
"Haha!! You wouldn't be able to handle my punch."
"Hahhh!!! How hurt would I be with that cute little fist of yours?"
"You're seriously asking for one at the moment." Han gritted his teeth while smiling dangerously.
"Okay okay. I'm sorry."
Han glared cutely again at him and left the dining room yelling,"let me know when you leave. Gotta go"
'Gosh!! I shouldn't have talked to him like that.'
'Gosh!! I shouldn't have asked him about it.'
The two boys thought.
*Flashback ends*
"You don't need to, though. It looked personal. You don't have to -"
"Who am I gonna tell these things if not you, the man I'm gonna get old with. "
"Hyungg!!! It's not necessary. You totally have the right to have personal space-"
"It's not even that deep. Don't worry. Was just a bit startled that day but nothing that I can't or don't want to tell you."
"Fine then. Let's get this done with. I really don't want to wake so early in the morning to learn this stupid driving."
"It's six in the morning, Hannie"
"Exactly!!! It's just six in the morning and apart from health-maniacs like you, there are people who like to sleep in the cozy blankets at this time specially when it comes to winters."
"What can I do? I have a husband who looks very fond of my abs. Need to satisfy him as well, right?"
Crimson covered the face and neck of Han when these words spilled out of Minho's tongue.
"What do you mean? I don't -"
"Lying is bad, Honeybun. I've caught you staring my naked upper body multiple times."
Han's ears stood out with a dark red colour coating it out of embarassment.
"Enough. We're here to learn driving not chatting." Han said to change the topic and Minho mercifully let him do that and got back to guiding him through with his driving lessons.
