"Why in the world am I here?"
"I didn't want to buy it alone. So, stop whining and help me out."
"I don't have any idea either, idiot!"
"She is waiting for us, you idiot. Be quick."
"Fineee. Wait, let me search it on the phone. I don't know anything about pads either."
Minho whipped out his phone and tapped a few buttons trying to find the best pads.
"It says that maxi pads are most comfortable. Let's get this one."
"Sure, right? I have heard it's very painful. I want to help her out with whatever I can."
It wasn't unusual for Minho to find his friend so panicked, especially after his marriage. He was genuinely happy to see his friend like a person so much who reciprocates his feelings.
"Let's get some chocolates for her. I read somewhere that chocolates helps with menstrual cramps." Saying this, Minho's friend, Seokmin, dragged him to the food section.
"Minho, go and find where herbal tea is. Mom is saying that herbal tea also helps."
When he didn't get a response from his best friend, Seokmin turned around only to find Minho paying at the cake section."Awwww, you're getting her a chocolate cake? So sweet of you!"
"You mad or what? That's for my Hannie. He loves chocolate cheesecake and he hasn't eaten it in a while. We can get one for her as well from somewhere else if you want to. Here is sold out. "
"Naah... Let's just find some herbal tea and leave. I need to prepare dinner as well."
"You can order home delivery." Minho suggested while looking for the tea bags.
"Naah... She can't handle spicy food very well and during her periods, she is generally not in the mood to deal with it."
"You know her too well." Minho smiled.
"Duh... I know her since first grade. We dated for like eight years and are married for almost a year now."
"And you never got her pad before."
"Well, she had her stock or got from her classmates or colleagues. That's the first time she was out of stock at home. I'll ensure that never happens again though."
"She's really sweet. Luck was on your side that she said yes."
"You're the one to say!!" Seokmin playfully rolled his eyes as he pushed the cart out after paying.
"What?" Minho chuckled having a slight idea about what Seokmin was getting upto.
"You literally married the boy you best saw once before having a crush without even doing anything."
"Stop calling it a crush. I just found him adorable."
"Same thing, Min. Like seriously, what are the chances that the only son of a business tycoon who never travelled on train in his entire life had to take a train because he overslept and missed the last flight to give his final exams and found a cute little squirrel looking guy sleeping in front of him and then getting married to the same guy two years later. Gosh, I still remember how you got late because you couldn't stop looking at him until he left the coach clumsily with his shoes barely pulled on to his feet."
Minho smiled fondly at the memory. He remembered how Han woke up only after the train reached its destination and his friend violently shook him. The boy had his eyes barely open to acknowledge the surrounding. He was just dragged away by his friend.
"Oooooo, someone's crush is getting rejuvenated."
"Shut up if you don't want to get beaten up. I'm saying it for the last time, it wasn't a crush." Minho said while looking out the window to his passenger seat.
"Understandable why you were searching for the name of people living in Seoul or back in Ilsan whose name started with 'Ji' on all social media websites. I wonder what was that for. "
"We're finally at your place. Go back to your wife. I'm leaving. You're annoying. "
"Love you too, man! Not more than my wifey tho." Seokmin winked before entering his house to which Minho pulled a disgusted face.

"Hannie?"
Minho found Han sleeping on the sofa in the living room. He probably would have slept waiting for Minho. They had planned movie night but the elder had to step out to help his friend.
Han looked so comfy that Minho didn't have the heart to wake the younger up but he knew the younger probably didn't had his dinner. Hence, with a gentle shake, Minho woke him up.
"Hyungie, no!!" Han mumbled still sleepy.
"Ji, eat your dinner then sleep. Come on."
"I'm not hungry." Han tried to get back to sleep but Minho knew better. He let the younger sleep a bit more while he heated up the now cold pizza and woke the younger again.
Han sat up with eyes still closed and a pout prominent on his face. Sleepy Han Jisung was always adorable. Fuck that, Han Jisung was always adorable. Sleepy one was just more adorable.
Once Minho realised that the younger is really sleepy and no sooner going to eat up himself, he took one slice and fed the younger one.
Han sleepily pressed his forehead on Minho's tummy trying to go back to sleep while sitting. Minho's breath hitched feeling the younger's face on his stomach.
"Minnie?? You there?" Mrs. Lee said on the other end of the call.
"Y-yeah" Minho realised he was on a call with his mom.
"I was asking you to come home for Christmas with Sungie."
"Yeah sure. I'll talk to him."
"Great. Good night then."
"Bye mom. Good night."
After disconnecting the call, Minho gently cupped Han's cheeks and tried to wake him. The boy slept again.
"Hannie?"
"Five minutes, please." Han mumbled with his cheeks now squeezed against Minho's tummy.
"Han-ah, Eat this and go to your room. It'll be more comfortable there."
"Nooo.... You're comfy and warm." Han said while wrapping around Minho's waist and pulling him closer to get more comfortable.
"You're cold?"
"Hmmm"
"This boy! Come on. Let's go to your room. Why're you in just a t-shirt?"
"Later"
"You'll get sick, Hannie."
"Don't wanna."
"Then sorry in advance." Minho lifted Han in his arms and took him in his room. For some reason, Han didn't protest. He didn't have any energy to react.
Minho only understood the reason the next morning when Han didn't come out of his room. The boy was burning with high fever and was wrapped inside the blanket when Minho found him out.
