'He's weird, mom! Please don't let him come here'
"He'll stay there for just two weeks, Sungie. I'm giving you the responsibility to tend to him, okay?"
"Yes, mom." Mrs. Han couldn't pick the fear in her son's voice.
They talked a bit more about nothing and everything before hanging up with a sweet goodnight. Now, Mrs. Han wasn't a bad lady. She loved her son dearly. So, they mostly got along well. The only problem was that she loved her social image more, even more than her son. To please others, she was okay with suppressing her only child.
"What was she upto?"
"Hyung!!! She's my mom! You act like she always have something up her sleeves."
"Because she has! Not one conversation of y'all go without you frowning at one point and giving in to her the next moment."
"Hyung!!' Han glared at the older.
"Okay okay! I'm sorry. I just don't like you getting sad."
"Aww! You're so cute." Han pinched the cheeks of the older who sat in front of him just across the table.
"Yaaaahhhh! It's you who is cute, not me! Also, we're at office. Show some respect."
"The doors are closed and no one can see us. Who cares?"
As if the sentence lit something in Minho, A mischievous glint appeared in Minho's eyes and he placed both his palms on the table and bent forward in an attempt to copy Han's posture and get on his eye level.
"You're right. We can do anything in this room and no one would know."
The smile suddenly dropped from Han's face when he realised what Minho meant and pink flushed on his entire face making him jolt backwards.
"What the- "
With that low baritone voice and the mischievous eyes up so close to him, this was the sexiest Minho, Han had seen.
"I have to go get cafe from the coffee. I'll be back." With these words, Han dashed out of Minho's cabin with a thumping heart.
-
"Hey Sungie" A voice beamed while its owner snaked his hands around Han's waist.
"Jaekyung Hyung! Hi. How are you?"
"Good. Just missed you a lot."
"Umm- hyung!! Put me down. Everyone's staring."
"Ohh. Sorry. I was excited seeing you."
"Uhh- Hyung, meet Minho Hyung."
"Hannie's husband. Nice to meet you." Minho extended his one arm towards the new person and snaked his other arm across Han's back with a territorial look on his face. Though the elder had a smile on his face, Han knew him much better than that.
"Umm- hyung, that's Jaekyung Hyung. My cousin."
"I hope you're nice to my Sungie!" Saying this, Jaekyung laughed out loud. Unfortunately, Minho didn't like the elder's humour.
"Do I have an option? Can't afford to lose this li'l squirrel." Minho leaned towards Han and nuzzled up against Han's cheeks.
Jaekyung clenched his jaw seeing the scene unfolding in front of him. Nonetheless, he smiled again and went away saying that he wanted to greet the elders.
Seeing the said man go away, Minho visibly relaxed. He loosened his grip on Han's waist. Was he jealous? No. He still considered Han just as his friend, best friend in fact. Even if they were dating or in love, Minho wasn't the type to get jealous of his man's cousin. Why did he act that way, you may ask. It was because he didn't get a positive vibe from the cousin and he saw how uncomfortable the younger was with the presence of the ravenette.
