After yesterdays incendient, I needed a much needed a long sleep. This morning I was awaken by not my mom, I woke myself up...On time.

That's never happened before. I decided I was going to curl my hair since it's friday. I put on leggings and a cropped sweater and went to the kitchen to pack my bag.

No one was home since my mom had to take my sisters to their doctor appointments and my dad had to work early. Today I was getting a ride with Jack since Bells was going to school late. In the car Jack and I just talked about our feelings on people and random stuff that was happening ok tiktok. We got to school a little late since there was traffic so we had no time to meet with of friends we just had to go straight to class.

Jack and I got to sit together for the period since we had a study period. And let's just say we did no studying.

" Soph I think i'm gonna try out for football at lunch" Jack said with a huge smile on his face.

"aww Jack that's awsome. Your 100% gonna make the team" I said hugging him.

"thanks Soph.... sooo... you know how Josh is your lab partner, and you know how he's the captain of the team. I was wondering if you could put in a good word for me?" Jack said while putting his hands together in a begging form.

"of course Jack I got you" I said with a giggle. For the rest of the period Jack and I just talked and before we knew it the bell rang. I hugged Jack goodbye and made my way to class.

" Kids who just walked in we are going to go straight to the lab and get the work started" my teacher said as a few students including me walked in. I walked into the lad to see Josh smiling and mouthing "Hi "to me. I smiled back at him and went over to give my friends a hug.  my teacher cleared her voice" Okay student everyone get in your seats I will be explaining your tasks".

I walked back over to my lad station and took a seat. " Okay class, for you assignment you and your partner will be making a colour changing substance including three elements we have learned. You will use your knowledge so your substance will start off clear and turn either blue, purple or yellow-you chose. Today will just be for brainstorming and getting to know your partner. Okay get to working." my teacher said while sitting in her chair.

"Sophia I just want to let your know before had. I have no clue what's going on so your gonna have to do most of the work" Josh said with a slight laugh.

" that's fine " I followed with a smile. There was a long silence till Josh decided to break it. " So Sophia were supposed to get to know each other, so tell me about yourself" "Oh well I don't know, Um my favorite colours blue and I have a dog" I said a bit nervous.

We went on telling each other facts about ourselves for around 20 minutes. " have you ever had a boy friend?" Josh asked. I was a little shocked he asked that. " oh uh yeah" I lied. "I actually just broke up with him.... um because he cheated on me" I lied even more. I've always felt insecure that everyone around me has had a signifiant other  and I haven't. " oh well funny u should say that's guess who broke up with me. Olivia" Josh said will no amusement. " oh Josh Im so sorry" I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

"thanks, i'm just so upset about the whole thing. She told me I wasn't good enough and that I never cared for her, which in reality I did" he said. " you know what. I think we should make a little plan" Josh said leaning closer. " Um okay..." I said.

" Do you want your ex back?" Josh asked. " Um yeah I guess". " And I want Olivia back. So why don't we just pretend to be dating. I mean it's a great idea, olivia would be so jealous and I would make her wanna get back with me and i'm sure your boyfriends would be jealous too " Josh said with excitement. " Eh Josh I don't know" I said shacking my head. " Come on Soph. It's a perfect plan" he said.

"Ok, im in" I said closing my eyes." Perfect". " but... I do think we should have some rules to this whole "fake relationship"" I stated.

" Okay like what" Josh said with confusion. We continued to make a list of rules for the rest of the period. First of we decided to plan how the next few days were going to go.

We we're gonna hang out with each other in and out of school more often and post each other on social media. Josh wanted to make people talk. And if anyone asks, we we're secretly talking. And he told me to go watch football try outs since everyone would be there watching and we could début our new "relationship".

I was a little nervous this wasn't going to work out but YOLO I guess. The class had ended and we packed up our stuff. " oh Soph and one more thing. we can only tell our close friends. People we trust not to tell anyone" He said while winning at me. I smiled and walked to the door with him. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and then a hug goodbye. I got butterflies in my stomach.

"OH MY GOD. Sophia Grady what was that?" Bells asked as Emily squealed. " It's a long story that I will tell you guys when we are with everyone".

They rolled their eyes at me and we met everyone at our lunch table. " So guys guess who just kissed Sophia's cheek and hugged her goodbye. Joshua Wilson" Emily said. Everyone was shocked. " Oh my god Soph. Wait does this mean i'll get a spot on the football team?" Jack said with enthusiasm.

We all laughed at him. The rest of the day went great. Between classes me and Josh met up to talk. He walked me to my final two classes and met with me and my friends after last period to get to know them a bit better. Jack and Josh immediately bounded over football and Josh told him that he made the team after a great tryout during lunch.

Over the weekend Josh added my phone number and we started texting. We texted every second of the day. He was really fun to talk to. We facetimed Saturday night up until 4 oclock in the morning.

I was really excited to see Josh on Monday. When I arrived at school me and Bells went straight so say Hi to Josh and his friends. " Hi babe" Josh said to me while giving me a hug.

'babe' that gave me butterflies. Josh introduced me into all of his friends and they turned out to be very nice. I have my home room with his friend David. So I asked if he wanted to walk with  to class where we could meet Jack.

On the way to class, David got to know each other more. We had another study period so Jack, David and I talked the whole period.
