" Hey I don't know about it" I said with hesitation.
It was Thursday night and I was on a call with Josh. " Come on Soph it will be fun, i'll bring you home as early as you want just stay for a couple hours" Josh said almost begging me. The biggest party of Junior year was happening tomorrow and Josh wanted me to go. To make our relationship more known of course.
" I guess so but I have no clothes" I said.
Josh sighed, " Come on Sophia you must have something to wear. Please to this for me. You are my 'Girlfriend' after all".
"okay fine i'll come. I gotta go it's getting late, Sweet dreams" I said while yawning. " Thanks soph, i'll see you tomorrow. Good night" Josh said while ending the call.
I pulled in my phone and went to bed.
knock. Knock.
I groaned "yes?". "Sophia honey do you know what time it is?" my mom said while barging into my room. Oh crap it's 7:20. " oh gosh i'm late. Josh is going to be here any minute" I said jumping right out of bed putting on baggy sweatpants with an oversized sweater. " when will I meet your new boyfriend. This is a big deal Soph, you should ask him if he would like to come over for dinner on sunday, that's would be a great way to ask him" said my mom.
"Sure I can ask" I said giggling while throwing my hair in a messy bun. " oh shoot Josh is here I gotta go" I said running out of my room.
As we got to school I said bye to Josh and went to my first period class. " Soph are u coming to the party tonight it's gonna so awesome" jack asked as I walked in the class. " yeah Josh asked me" I replied.
The rest of the class when by fine. Jack, David and I talked and did some studying. The bell rang and I gave them both hugs goodbye to walk to my second class. As I was walking someone came up behind me and gave me a hug.
" hey babe" Josh said while hugging me.
" get a room no one wants to see this" Olivia said with attitude as she walked by us. " it's working, she's totally jealous!" josh said while holding my hand on the way to class. Oh how I wish I was acctually dating him.
The rest of the day went by really quick. Josh and I hung out alone near Olivia's lunch table so she would see us together.
Josh dropped me off at home and reminded me that he was going to pick me up at 7.
I spent the rest of the evening on call with Bells getting ready for the party. I did my makeup all nice and straightend my hair. I threw on leather pants and a croptop. Josh texted me that he was here to pick me up to I grabbed a purse put on perfume and left.
" Are you excited!!" Josh asked with enthusiasm.
" To be honest, i'm kinda nervous. I've never been to a party like this before" I said while looking down. " Soph there nothing to be worried about, i'll be with you the whole night and remember just tell me if you uncomfortable and we can leave" josh reassured me. He was so sweet.
When we got to the party Josh could tell I was nervous so he held my hand on the way in. We met up with our friends and started the fun.
The night was filled with dancing, games drinking and fun.
Olivia and her friends Jill and Lilly came up to me with fake smiles. " Hey sophia we just wanted to say you look really good tonight" Olivia said. I was confused Olivia the one who Hates my soul told me I look good?
" Omg Soph you should try this shot it tastes like cherrys" said Lilly. " Just try it it's really good!" Jill said while handing the shot over to me. I didn't drink but I also didn't want to look uncool infeount of the girls.
I chugged the shot and It tastes great. " Oh here Sophia try this one it taste like pinapple" said Olivia. They handed me at least 10 shots of different flavoured vodka. The were laughing as I chugged each one.
My whole mood changed. I wasn't myself. I joined in on a beer pong game and completely went out of control. Everyone cheered as I downed the cups of beer. I was so drunk that I started to dance. But not a cute party dance. It was getting weird.
"hey cute thing wanna take this upstairs" said this random guy In my grade. "Uhhh" I said trying to get a word out. As he was walking me to the stairs he was gripping my arm tight. Too tight to the point it hurt. "hey stop ur hurting me" I said trying to get away. "come on honey you don't know what you want" he said pushing me up against the wall rubbing his hands down my body.
" hey get off of me!!" I yelled.
"You bitch" is all I heard as the boy got ripped off me. " hey man—" the boy tried to get out as Josh punched him in the jaw. Josh pushed the boy to the ground, git on top of him and continued to punch him. " If you ever lay your hands on her again your dead" Josh yelled while continuing to punch the boys face. I was sitting in the floor crying while my friends came over to comfort me. A crowd formed. 'Go josh' and 'kick his ass' came from the crowd. Jack and Miles pulled Josh off of the boy, as the boys friend took him out of the party. Josh ran over to me to make sure I was okay. "can you just take me home" I cried while hugging Josh.
On the drive home Josh kept his hand on my knees the whole time. Seeing him stick up for me like that was so comforting. My head was pounding from all the Alcohol I consumed.
" Soph what made you get so drunk, I mean i've never seen you so open" Josh said with a laugh.
" Olivia and her friends suggested I tried a drink and they kept handing me shots after another" I told him holding me head. " I'm never drink this much ever again" I said groaning. Josh just laughed and stared at me. "what do I look bad" I said while fixing my hair. " No u look cute" he said with a smile. We just sat there in silence staring at each other. " Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, My mom offered for you to come over for dinner since she wants to meet you and all" I asked him. " That would be great I will definitely come!" Josh said with a smile. We just laughed at the events that happened tonight during the part till we got to my house.
" thanks you so much for everything you did tonight. I really appreciate it Josh" I said looking at him. "No problem, I would never let a guy treat you like that" her said staring into my eyes. Just before I opened the car door he gave me a kiss on the cheek. The butterflies this man gives me is crazy. I waved from my porch and went inside.
