Accident

A couple weeks went by and things were going very well. No one had suspected anything about the fake dating. We we're pretty good at this. I woke up to thé the sound of my sisters screaming at each other since Abby took Sara's top.  I got up threw my hair in a bun, put on leggings and a sweater and went to go meet Josh in the car.

On the way to school we were talking about the big football game that was happening tonight. Our school was versing the best school who hasn't lost a game. Josh was nervous. I just reassured him that everything was going to be okay. One we got to school I met up with Jack and David and we walked to class together. Today I had tests in 3 of my classes, I was more stressed than ever.

My first periods test went well. If i'm being completely honest I looked at Jacks paper for half the answers.

Once class ended I met up with Josh so we could walk to science together. "Soph i'm actually so nervous. With the big game tonight and this test I don't know how I'll be able to function" I laughed. " Come on Josh you'll do fine! As long as you studied which I know you did you'll definitely pass and don't worry about the game tonight this is the first time your playing them and our teams been doing really good" I told him.

The test was challenging but I think I passed for the most part. Josh kept giving me glances and mouthing the words help me and pretending to cry.

As soon as the bell rang we handed in our tests and went to our lunch table. Me and Josh swapped lunches since he knows I love his moms sandwiches and he loves my moms pizza.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I met his mom last week and it went really well. His mom is so so sweet I definitely know where Josh gets it from.

School ended and it was time to go home. Bells took me to her house so we could get ready for the game. The boys stayed at school because the game started in an hour and they had to practice before hand. One we finished getting ready we rushed to the game because it was almost going to start.

We met up with a couple of our friends to watch the game. The game wasn't starting off to good. We we're down by ten points but In the final quarter we made a come back and won by 7 points. The crowd cheered as we ran out on the field to congratulate the team.

Later that night one team member was hosting a party for wining. We all went back to our own houses and Jack picked Josh, Bells, Em and I up.

The party was so much fun. People dancing, playing games and singing we were having a great time. I was definitely not going to drink like last time. That was awful. I lost my friends as soon as the party started to fill up so I tried finding someone I knew. I spotted my friend Lily and went over to talk to her. We talked for a bit until I heard a bug crash.

I ran over to the crowd and saw Josh lying on the floor holding his head. "Oh my gosh Josh what happened, oh my your head?" I yelled trying to sit up upwards.

"haha I just fellllll, I'm fineee" He said drunk.  I stood him up and dragged him to the bathroom.
I sat him on the counter while I looked in the cabinets for a cloth and bandaids. I took the cloth and patted the cut. Inches always from Josh I could here him breathing.

" Is this hurting?" I asked him. "No. Your okay" he said while he continued to stare at me.

Silence.

I took the bandaid and put it in his cut. "There that's better" I said holding his face. He stared into my eyes not losing his focus. We we're so close I felt i'm breathing in me. Then it happened we kissed.

We had kissed before but that was in-front of people. The kiss was passionate. He grabbed my waist as I held the back of his neck.

The door crashed open.

" Guys the police is here we gotta go" Jack said while grabbing our hands and tuning to his car.

We lost Josh on the way to Jacks car since everyone was running out but I saw that he got into someone's car.

As I got home all I could think about was that kiss. It wasn't in-front of anyone to show that we were dating or not make anyone jealous, it was  just us two and it felt magical.

The next day I was nervous to talk to Josh about the kiss but it had to be done. There was passion in the kiss. It didn't feel forced or fake.

I got a ride with Bells this morning. As we got to school I saw Josh standing with Olivia which was really weird. I looked at him with a smile and waved but he just walked away. " that was weird" Bella said.

After first period I expected Josh to meet me in the halls but he was no where to be found. I sat down in my seat waiting for him to come in. About 20 minutes went by and he finally got to class. "Joshua where we're u if you don't mind me asking" my teacher said in an angry tone. He signed while sitting in his seat behind me "Sorry Mrs" He was acting really weird today. " Your mother will be getting an email" said my teacher.

At the end of class Josh just ran out and left me behind. What was up with him. Me Em and Bells all walked together to our lunch table. There sat Josh, Jack, Taylor, Seth and David. I took the seat beside Josh. " hey so I wanted to talk about last night" I said quietly to him, but it was loud enough for our friends to hear. " what about last night" he said. Jack looked at me confused. "Um that kiss we had" I said with a little annoyance. " It was just a kiss, I was drunk that's all" Josh said a bit louder. " Okay did I do something to you" I said getting mad now. " Sophia we kissed I don't know what more you want for me to say" He said really now so that other people were listening. " You know what i'm breaking up with you" I yelled. " what" he said now showing emotion. " You have been a duck to me all day. You know what I started this whole 'thing' I was so excited. Oh and for everyone listening Yes we weren't actually dating.  Josh wanted to make Olivia jealous and I lied and said I had a boyfriend because I didn't want you to think I wasn't cool. It was going so well until yesterday. We shared an actual kiss that wasn't just for show and you didn't care. You met my family, we talked every night, you took me on dates and  I was starting to fall in love with you for gods sakes. but I was wrong" I said with tears in my eyes. " I gotta go" I said while  tears were rushing down my face as I ran out of the school. Bells and Emily followed. "Wow man" Jack said to Josh as he left to go get me.  I was so embarrassed but I couldn't take it anymore he was so rude to me for no reason. My mom picked me up from school and I told her everything that had happened in the car. When I got home I just stayed in bed for the rest of the day eating ice cream and watching shows. Josh texted me but I didn't check them. How could I after I yelled at him in front of the whole school.
